Found this on one of the reviews - This has hardly any protein in and is mainly made up of sugar. Also requires such a large quantity of powder for each serving. 1.5kg makes 25 servings (which is not much for 1.5kg). Does not mix very easily.

Think you have to use this with Mcdonalds for good results :whistling:

I can't find the ingredients anywhere online. It's cheap though!!

the extra calorie intake helps you gain weight aswell though?

as long as you do exersize as it says with all these kinds of products you can bulk up muscle wise as well.

but what you said was bang on! it is mostly sugar instead of protein.

cheers.

Mostly sugar instead of protein is not that good for body builders.... which is why the opt for a whey protein that is packed full of protein. Good for others but if you dont excercise whilst taking this the sugar will build up into fat

You cant bulk up muscle just by doing exercise, you need to lifting heavy weights. And if its mostly sugar and not much protein then it proabably wont do anything apart from put on fat

I'd avoid this stuff personally, it says on the label 15% protein!! That's pretty poor.
So if the rest is mainly sugar and carbs then it's probably doing more harm than good really.
If you're serious about bulking up you'd avoid this stuff and go for something with more protein and less sugar. Or just eat more regularly to keep your metabolism going, and frequently.

Shakes are mainly used for convenience, best to eat proper food. Handy for straight after a workout as keeping a steak in my gym bag really isn't very convenient.

carbs are essential for bulking up whey protein alone won't do this bodybuilders consume a protein/carb mix for bulking up and cut back on the carbs when making weight. whey protein and mass building products are totally different.

sorry to call you out on this but i know for a fact that is wrong.
you can build muscle in most parts of ur body just by running because you use:

Arms

Shoulders

Stomach

Legs

etc when you run

if this has alot of sugar in it (alot of calories) then you would recieve a greater amount of energy to help you last longer during exercise resulting in you building more muscle.:?

i agree it would not be good if you were going for the big arnie look, but if you are rediculouslt thin and skint...i dont think you would care what kind of weight you are puting on?

hence the post.

cheers guys

Yes i totally understand... but buying a product that is hardly any protein in is not going to help... i dont want to get into a whole debate. I always seem to whenever someone posts a deal about this stuff. My fiance is a body builder... we have all sorts in the house and i have to stare at tubs of protein in the kitchen every day... i dont need to know anymore... just wanted to put my comments in to let people know that they cant just take this and think ooooh wow i have muscles! Its not got much protein in and you also need to do the relevant excersice and weights... one guy i know takes this and does nothing and thinks he is going to look like popeye.... hence why he is still gets mistaken for the garden rake

Indeed, protein helps to help promote muscle gain and help with recovery.
But you gotta put the hard work in if you want to bulk up. Some people do it easier than others, so you gotta know your body.

When it comes to weights, again everybody is different, if you wanna bulk up you gotta eat more weights!!! It don't come easy, no pain no gain!!

cheers for all the comments, you have most likely helped someone out who may have bought this under false pretence.

but just to clear something up...

i didnt actually say it was good to get muscles?

i only posted it as a weight gain product, and considering all products are rigorously scrutinized by the food standards agency and such like, i doubt it would do anyone any harm or be misleading on the tub its self.

but cheers non the less
