The new game for the DS Professor Layton and his curious village is £23.97 from Sainsburys instore. This is at least a £1 cheaper than online and is £26.98 in Tesco. I know not a huge saving but a saving all the same. My husband has just picked me a up a copy from Sainsburys in Emmersons Green Bristol.

Got this from the US some time ago, brilliant game and well worth a play if you like brain training puzzles mixed in with a smattering of classic point and click. I just wish Level 5 would hurry up and translate the 2nd and 3rd ones into English :-D.

If the UK release is the same as the US one then you can also pull extra puzzles off Nintendo's servers using the DS WiFi (the US version has had a puzzle a week for some time now). Whilst they are not linked in with the story aspect of the game they help extend replay value.

thanks for this - great price

Great game, definitely recommend - and best price so far !

Good price for it, I've voted hot.

But, I can't believe how much this is considering how much effort has gone in to making it. £25 is far too much for a series of what are essentially brain teasers. This should be below £20 easily.

This games brilliant.. really addictive. Gets the mind working. Gr8 price.. Voted hot!

yeah ive had this ever since the US release around 6 months ago, when i completed it. i want the others in the series as they are gonna be good on the DS.

i agree i wouldnt pay anywhere near this price, but when its free, its the best price lol.

Don't forget to get a flashcard and make a backup of the game in case you lose the original.
You can also then put all of your games on 1 card in case you lose them and it's more convenient.

I am not aware of what a flash card is (sorry I am a bit of a techy dunce) could you give me a link to one on play or somewhere please? Thank you.

This is £23.99 at powerplaydirect plus there is a 5% voucher that can be used but if its in your sainsburys store i guess its better to get it from there instead of waiting for delivery, definitely a xmas gift id like! :)

Superb yes, but why the hell it took NINE MONTHS to add a few "u"s in the middle of words I don't know.

Assuming they even bothered to do that.
