Just received an email to let me know that Simply Games currently have the NEW Professor Layton and Pandoras box already in stock even though it is not set for release for another 7 days. It is £25.89 and comes with a fun pack. Ideal if you want this before other shops stock them! Free fun pack includes: a Poster, 2 Sticker sets, A4 Folder and a key ring

Puzzle master Professor Layton and his apprentice, Luke, have stumbled upon another mystery. Its up to them to navigate their way through numerous puzzles to determine who or what caused the death of Professor Laytons mentor, Dr. Schrader. Was it the mysterious Elysian Box, rumored to kill all who open it? Professor Layton and Luke find a clue that begins their adventure: a train ticket for the Molentary Express.

* Professor Layton and the Pandora Box features a riveting new mystery and more than 150 new brain teasers, riddles and logic puzzles to challenge and delight players.
* Beyond the puzzles found in the game, players with a broadband Internet connection who connect their Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi systems to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection will get access to downloadable bonus puzzles. A new puzzle will be available each week for 33 weeks after the game launches.
* The new game includes a significantly greater amount of voice work and animated movie scenes compared to the original.

Finished it last week, found it much easier than Curious Village but enjoyable all the same. Love the hamster.

Cheers

My mother's been waiting for this so jumped straight in to grab one for her - THANKS! Good to see they are doing 33 weekly bonus puzzles too! Don't forget TopCashBack and/or iPoints (it initially claimed my a/c was closed but accepted it once registered).

Thanks OP, just ordered and was able to pay with paypal:thumbsup:

Thats a pre order though - this is in stock now :)

It's WORSE than that - you CAN'T pre-order at that price, just register to get an email if/when they ever get any - and who knows what price it may be by then = nice price/idea but lousy implementation

That doesn't have the goodies included in the OP either. H and R added to OP.

Anyone know if this is the UK/Euro version (I know the DS is a region free system), as I would like the Nintendo Star points and it will make life easier if I want to trade it in for another game in the future.

Thanks and good deal anyway!!

Plus the voices are different in the American version. I believe some of the puzzles are localised too.

Delighted to say mine arrived this morning, ie within one working day, and has 'European registered design' text and 'assembled in Germany' on it and putting the barcode into Amazon.co.uk brings up their £27.96 due for release on 25/9 page and the part number NTR-YLTP-UKV hints at "UK" too. (The Amazon pic is still the foreign differently titled one.)

(And Simply Games confirmed promptly by email this morning that it was the UK edition too as the scaremongers here had worried me into double-checking with them!)

So moral is - it's NOT too good to be true :)

Well products are always in the distribution chain BEFORE release date - it's not as if high-security vans rush round the country overnight on each product release date - the resellers are simply embargoed from selling before the official release date.

So Simply Games must have:
a) sourced via a distributor/reseller who forget to mandate them as to the first date for public release; or
b) they decided to ignore the release date given them via their source; or
c) agreed with their source they could release early to stimulate discussions/product-awareness as we are...

So it's not like when the Harry Potter books came out & they were all delivered by owl on the morning of the release date then!!?

Seriously though am loving the new game thanks to op for the tip off :)
