Blimey thats expensive.

Shocking price mate, find one at retail and you *may* get a warm deal, find one below it and it will be a scorcher, advertise this and it will only end up freezing cold.

Mike..

The annoying thing about this game is that anyone buying it for younger kids is going to be wasting their money.
Retailers selling it for this price ought to be shot.

congratulations you get the award for biggest rip off of the year:thumbsup:

and it could be the US version:whistling:

Quote from Website
Our current stock consists of UK and US versions of the game. They do not differ in any way except the packaging.

The English version of Professor Layton and the Curious Village has a 15
puzzles that are different to those in the American version. Also 9 of the
puzzles have different names, but are essentially the same puzzle.
Measurements and currency are in English units in the English version.

I hate this company, they sold DS's well above RRP 2 years ago and same with Wii's last year. Customer service is pretty poor too

I got the cancellation e-mail from PC World lunch time but think I've just managed to grab one on Amazon for £29.99, hopefully !!

Back in stock for anyone who wants to pay too much for the game..

I suggest waiting for a shop to not over charge.
#13
Had a look at these on Amazon. Some 3rd party sellers have it priced at £34 and £35, but then charging £14.60 shipping!!! And underneath it says "low-priced item"!!! :w00t: Why do Amazon let them get away with it?
#14
We managed to get one of these for £28 (inc P&P) earlier today but they really are like rocking horse doo doo's

Amazon are kncking them out at nearly a hundred quid a pop. Whats worse is that people are buying them at that price.

Dunno the web address but the missus went on Nintendos site and they had a list of their suppliers, who had it in stock and the price. Thats what we did for ours.

Seems that this is this years must have game and most places are selling out as fast as thet get them (literally within minutes). Of course, come January it will be business as usual, but that don't help much Crimbo morn.....

We have told our daughter that it is impossible to get so she has no expation of it being in the stocking on Christmas Day, and will have a nice surprise if it does get here in time:)

ROBBING BAST***S.selling the game £10 above its retail price is disgusting and people should have no dealings with this company in the future.Nintendo are also to blame as well - every year they starve the market of certain products and force consumers to pay inflated prices plus the additional stress of trying to get hold of them.:x

Don't waste your money - my son currently playing this game and he says it's ****. One good thing is I didn't waste my money (got a dstt card and 'acquired' the game off the share website). :whistling:
