Heat for the good price but I was really disappointed with this game. Its mind numbingly repetitive.

Damn, I was hoping this was a remake of Project X for the Amiga!

I got that impression form the demos. SRPG with unskippable animations (as it is the battle system) and lots of fodder enemies followed by bosses with 100 times more HP than those*=missions that outstay their welcome.

I guess there is more enjoyment to had from the various IPs that appear in the game as they do pick some which are quite obscure by todays standards.

*-Then people get really upset when in something like Fire Emblem a boss takes a few turns to kill. I'd take that over 15 rounds of my entire army wailing on a damage sponge.

That's exactly what I thought too! I was never able to get past level 2 lol

Yup you hit the nail on the head... The bosses have ridiculous hp and in later stages there can be 4-6 bosses turning up throughout a level (note- they are the same bosses over and over again). The actual battles start out fun and have the feeling of a beat em up with lots of button mashing and move combinations... but it doesn't develop. It just stagnates and you find yourself going through the same motions fight after fight- plus the unskipable final moves.... urghh

I'll skip this, bought too much rubbish before just because of Morrigans chest!

Some really good jokes in this game based on the IPs - mileage varies depending on your familiarity with the source content

thanks OP just used all my reward points on this :)

I bought this from ShopTo about 5 months ago and I think it's a great title. For me, the game isn't very challenging (yet at least), it's really about management of your items and the XP gauge when you engage the stronger foes.

Plenty of fan service from the very beginning and fantastic battle animations.

You can skip the super move animation by holding B or pressing B twice.

Stock returned to central warehouse from stores? Would account for why old oos games come back into stock with such low quantities too.

New games have an initialising memory message pop up when you first put them in. If you don't get that, they're not new. Missing VIP cards is a giveaway too. Out of the 4 games I bought, 1 was sealed, 2 were new but unsealed and 1 had no card and a save file with 4 hours played! Guess which one is going back?
