Comments about Maximuscle Promax Extreme :

Maximuscle Promax Extreme: 5/5If your looking for an effective and fast acting protein supplement to build your muscles, then Maximuscle Promax Extreme is the right choice, it was for me! The price is very reasonable, Some may think its a little bit expensive but you will sure think different and be very happy with the end results, as it provides only lean whey protein with almost zero amounts of carbohydrates and fats.I use Maximuscle Promax Extreme (Strawberry Flavour), Not only does it taste great on its own or with Milk. I believe its the best supplement to use to gain maximum results, The Promax Extreme comes in exciting and refreshing flavours which include Orange, Strawberry, Vanilla, Chocolate and Banana!I take 3 to 4 servings a day, One when I wake-up, On post Training, One after main meal and sometimes One more in the evening (with Milk) to help repair the muscles & slowly digest whilst I sleep. Before I started using Maximuscle Promax Extreme, I was aiming to Lose Weight, Build Lean Muscle, Increase my Size & Gain a Stronger Muscular Body.Having a Healthy and Balanced Diet with Regular Exercise (Cardio/Weight Training), Taking Maximuscle Extreme helped me reach my goal! You will see fast results after using Maximuscle Promax Extreme as it provides ultra fast delivery of muscle building amino acids,Without Maximuscle I wouldn't be who I am today,A Leaner, Stronger and Healthier Person! Thanks Maximuscle :)

It's fantastically overpriced to start with so until Maximuscle starts to price itself realistically, it will always be a crap deal.
#4
Yeah, as Mr Juice says, its way over priced. Try looking at somewhere like myprotein.com to get an idea of the prices you should be paying.

It's like Ford pricing the Fiesta at £25,000.

A 'deal' comes up where you can pick it up for £12,000

Now unless you're in the habit of enjoying taking one up the rear end from companies, then the sensible chaps n chap-esses will just merrily carry on buying the equivalent specced corsa for £9000.

Are there alternatives to these two brands? I'm looking to buy some but haven't a clue what to look for.

myprotein is fine, well priced.

This deal is hot, I don't have it personally, but it's a great price for a panic buy etc.

Found mini Promax online £18.00 for 454g, so this deal is def hot. Not sure why it's cold though.
#11
you get what you pay for with protein in taste and content.

I pay £30 for 5kg at MyProtein and they do very good quantity discounts too. I wouldn't buy Maximuscle if it was the only product available. It's fully of crap.

There's also

Just buy a concentrate, either flavoured or unflavoured if you're not fussy.

If you go with MP, I'd opt for something along these lines

http://www.myprotein.com/uk/products/impact_whey_protein

assuming that you didn't want more of a carb/protein mix

If that were true then maximuscle would yield 3-4 times the "results" of say MP or bbwarehouse.

Frankly, whey is whey. The only difference is how much the marketing budget is and how much you like paying for a fancy label!

The most important thing is that you get a product that meets label claims and I'm confident that MP do so with the ISO certification

Man good price....As fo rthe neg comments....IS this not a forum for deals, as in price deals. The fact you may not like Maximuscle is far besides the point,,,,I personally use it all the time and love the brand, ye it may be a tad dearer, but then it is tried and proven.....For the price quoted it is a bargin, forget examples againt cars and stuff...pffft to many people on here who comment on make and munfacturer and not the deal shown....Thumbs up for me bud
