PRS SE Custom 24 Tri Colour Sunburst Guitar, £399.00 at DV247, Free Delivery
f you're lucky enough to be able to afford an American built Custom 24, then this might not interest you. For anyone else, I can highly recommend the SE (Korean) range.
Finished to a high standard, superb action wide thin neck – nice electrics and a very decent trem – prices seem to start at £499 elsewhere with many people retailing these at £599. I'm a recent convert to the SE, and I wish I'd invested much sooner. You'll feel like a champion every time you get this puppy out. All the other SE's I've seen include a gig bag, which isn't mentioned in the listing – but I've asked the question via email and I'll update the description once I have a reply.
UPDATE: Gig bag is included. Although it's showing as out of stock now, I was told to call for more info as it may still be possible to order. Let me know if you have any luck.

Just my opinion -:p
Like Swaleso said - practice practice practice. If you can afford a good teacher that would help - but there are loads of teach yourself guitar books out there that would help.
However, if anyone has a Lake Placid Blue USA Strat with a maple neck I could be interested !

Just looked at the picture and realised it does have the birds. I thought the main aesthetic difference between SE and the top end models was having the birds rather than the dots? Obviously theres a lot more actual difference than just that though.
The higher end models have alot of power. I have both a high end prs and gibson and the prs always wins hands down for me. It can be aggressive when you want or very smooth and clean. The pickups are great and you just need to know which ones to select when you need them.

Thanks for the advice, unable to afford a teacher unfortunately. I've been using Justin Guitar online. Just feel like i've hit a brick wall the last few weeks don;t seem to be improving.
