I'm Particularily looking forward to Awesomenaughts, Wakingboarding HD and Mushroom Wars. For my £2.67 a month {I paid £32 for 2 £20 cards} I think this is the best PS+ update EVER, and I thought last months was good

Lots of Full game trials too including Rayman Origins

£39.99 for 12 months and you keep the games as long as you are a member of PS+. Works out to £3.33 per month, but you can always find PSN credit for less than the actual amount (ie £25 for 20 etc etc - any good deals at the moment?)

Or £11.99 for 3 months if you are unsure.

Remember though if you stop subscribing to your PSN+ you lose access to your free games till you resubscribe.

So they're not really free then as you have to keep paying to use them. Sounds great (_;)

Think the minimum is 3 months for £11.99, unless you mean the free 30 day thing they gave everyone for being hacked? In which case if you haven't redeemed it and they still let you activate it then yes you can.

That free 30 day trial has long gone gentlemen.

Yes, of course. Why wouldn't you get them? Obviously you will only get them for 90 days though, and it works out slightly dearer, but it's a good way to try PS+ and see if it's for you

EDIT I think if you leave it 2 weeks, your subscription will cover 90 days, which will include 4 updates

Tempted, might go to Gamestaton and use up some of my trade in credit on a psn card.

PS+ does seem to be getting its act together these days. Have been impressed with the freebees over the last few months.

Also a note to PS Vita owners. Sony have Frobisher Says! free on the psn store around 460mb.

PS+ has been well worth it recently.

In the last couple of months alone there's been Trine 2, Shank 2, Awesomenauts, Silent Hill, and Max Payne all for free (amongst many others).

Well worth the £2.66 a month.

Thing is out of all those games I don't think I would have downloaded any of those games unless they were free

false advertising, it is not free games, you need to pay £40 a year to basically rent a few games, also you cannot chose which games you get, therefore you could end up paying £40 a year and already have the "free" games or have no intention of playing them. therefore it is a complete lottery.

ps+ is the worst thing i have ever seen theres only like 1% of my friends list who actually has it.

i would rather keep the £40 to buy games which i actually "want" outright.

All plus has done for me is made me stop buying games off the store and wait for them to come onto plus, I used to buy a lot but don't bother now unless I really want it, when I first became a member it wasn't really a good deal for me as I had most of what they had to offer but still made my money back on the things i didnt own but wanted to purchase at some point, I am tempted now to rejoin for 3 months to try out this bunch of games.

PlayStation Plus is definitely a good deal, especially when compared to its direct rival: XBL Gold.

Sony love us all.

But why is it always on here? I swear this months PSN updates have been posted up 3 times already....

You PS+ lovers should know that most of the new stuff that's been really good these past few months is down to the new blog writer actually doing his job properly and listening to the subscribers, replying to them and fowarding what they want on. It's a douche move to take traffic away from him just to make some easy heat.

In before anyone says "people don't have time to read it and will miss out" because anyone who will benefit from these things will obviously be an avid PS+ user, and if you are paying for a service that gives you free games and discounts EVERY month then they are at least going to load the store themselves to see what is on there.

So let me get this straight:
Can I get any of the games on the "full games trials" list and play them as much as I want as long as I have a ps+ subscription?

I for one wouldn't have a clue about it and quite fancy it, I'm self employed and work 6 days and nigh on 60 hours a week.

No they work for an hour and then expire. Also any trophys you unlock during that hour will show up on your profile but those specific ones will not sync to the server unless you buy the digital version of the game from the store. It actually screws you as well because if you unlock one on the trial then buy the physical game that trophy will remain in that locked state and demand you buy the download version of the game to unlock it - therfor you will never get that 100% synced if you get all of them in from a standard disc version afterwards.

You had never heard of PS+ yet you own a PS3 and actually use it frequently as something other than a media streamer? Or do you barely use it and your going to pay for this and never use any of the games just for the fact that is is a bargain in your eyes, like some kind of bargain addict.

I'm guessing you could be a PS user that plays it all the time but has never EVER been to the store. So no DLC for any games ever, or arcade exclusives.

Whatever the reason please check out the actual blog and don't rely on these for your updates. That guy does a lot of work for the community and will listen and respond to you if you request things in the comments.

There are people who don't have PS+, they may not have been interested in it, know about it or bothered with it until they see what it has on offer.

The guy stated he didn't know about PS+ so why would he have known about this blog you harp on about? The guy also stated he's a busy guy, so let's assume that Hotukdeals was the first site he goes on his spare time, he would've seen this post before he would have went on to the said blog.

They're 'free' to PS+ subscribers, though obviously you're paying for it all via your subscription fee. No different to phone contracts with free handsets though, so I don't know why you're calling them out on this one.

PS+ is worth it for the automatic game/system patching and cloud storage alone.

Take your uneducated ass elsewhere.

Also, £40 a year to rent some great games, and get guaranteed beta access to all the top titles, is generally worth it anyway, on top of the cloud storage and auto updates, as well as the fact it auto syncs your save games etc as well.

I have roughly 20 or so top ps1 games (all the crash bandicoots, silent hill, resi evils, etc), a stupid amount of PS Minis, most of which are quite abysmal I'll admit, and **** loads of PSN titles such as sonic the hedgehog, burnout paradise, castle crashers, plants vs zombies, hydrophobia prophecy, SSF2T HD remix, Trine 2, Sly Cooper 1, Shank 2, sega classics such as streets of rage / golden axe etc, and this is on top of todays goodies. There are plenty of more obscure titles that ive missed off as well.

My 1 year subscription isnt up until November.

I forgot to mention all the savings ive made from the PS Plus discounts as well.

haven't read all the comments but in case no one said or for people that dont know, once you cancel your sub or it runs out all this free game will no longer be available to play, so they only free as long you keep your sub.

but games that u bought as a discount while sub to PlayStation Plus will be yours to keep.
