^ Anyone know if this is available in an Asda in London?

Maybe it was a one off, due to being previously opened or returned or whatever.

These have been out of production for years, will probably just be one shop's old stock.

Where's the best place for memory cards? Need a lot of them but they are very expensive.

I recently picked up a 64gb off a friend for £50, they are stupidly expensive for what they are, and £50 appears to be a bargain!

The best way is to find item(s) for reasonably low prices and then trade them in at CeX to buy the memory cards. I've done this several times for games and 2x Vita/PSTV (16GB/64GB) memory cards.

Shame that the Chinese still haven't found a way to use SD cards as memory cards on a Vita.

got my 64gb off ebay a couple of years back for about £70. its more than enough for average use, i probably have about 40 games installed with room to spare.

lets be honest though all you really need is persona 4 golden and peace walker though :D

I can't believe my eyes. A 64GB memory card was sold on eBay for £74. Jesus Christ!

Crap. CeX pumped the price from £50 to £78 too and 16GB went from £25 to £30 so not too much of an increase.

The sticker alone should tell you this is likely a one-off. Pointless

I'm amazed the staff haven't nabbed them all to sell for a profit on eBay.

ASDA Stockport aren't answering their phones as usual. Typical **** customer service I've come to expect from them.

brilliant price, good spot op

My Asda removed their games console counter and it has been replaced with a board that you can buy PS+ cards on instead.. I used to like looking at the consoles.

Forgive me for not rushing out to get one from my local (leeds) store. :|

A man's gotta try. :{ Also, the heat is now over 400º and barely anyone got a Vita for this price.
#35
Bargain! Definitely pick that up. The screen on the new vita is just as nice. I've owned both. OLED, schmoLED.
#36
None there when I got to ads, im guessing somebody nabbed those last three pretty sharpish
#37
Paid £74 recently for a second-hand one, still the most powerful hand-held on the market, beautiful system..such lovely games.
#38
The new PSvita is better, but this is still a great price, I've still got my two, but be careful about buying these as the battery will be shot by now sitting around for years.

Well the reason they use their own format (apart from making money) is they get to reduce piracy and they can control speeds of what they make, so developers can optimise their game for one speed. Most SD cards are fake, they're slow and if people were left to buying them, Sony would get tons of complaints their games aren't running right.
