The best pack bundle so far IMO.

Killzone is the PSP version, I nearly fell for the memory card bundle last week.

Had a vita for nearly 2 years, decent little handheld but Sony already said there won't be any AAA titles, mine also stopped working

I love my vita. It really is disappointing that Sony have given up on it. It could have been so much better. At least a few more good big games for the people who supported it would be nice.

Nice bundle but a shame it's not the superior OLED model included. With Sony seemingly having given up on meaningfully supporting the console outside of Japan I expect to see many more such PS Vita discounted bundles appearing.

The support for this thing is indeed waning. I'll only bite if I see one of those £50-£60 preowned/clearance goose chase deals and i'm in the area. Otherwise i'll just continue to add Vita titles to my library on PS+ for that very day.

Ummmm yeah it's a much better one, included is the original superior Vita that has the OLED screen. The Vita that comes with this pack is the cheap and nasty slim version with a rubbish led screen -_- AND it costs 10 quid more!! lol

So this is the best price for this deal? yet you vote cold.
Some people may prefer the slim version and the games that come with this pack.
You also seem to like the word superior a lot...

Because the original Vita is lol Why pay 10 quid more for it when you can get the original and better version of it? The screen difference is huge, original OLED new slim is the cheap LCD screen.

The site puzzles me at times, the deal I shared is a good one and better value than this yet it does not get much heat at all -_- The credibility of this goes out the window at times!

Anyway this is the link for one of the best deals for the Vita right now http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/playstation-vita-oled-disney-mega-bundle-only-144-99-smyths-online-click-collect-1949339

Send it back to shopto the slim is cheap and nasty and has a poor LCD screen, get the original and best one OLED Vita at Smyths in the link above and save some money.

You might only get a shopto credit refund tho so you could be stuck with it lol

AAA games just don't sell as well on Vita, well, Sony ones anyway. It's much more suited to elaborate Indie games. And before anyone says anything, I mean all those wonderful games not on Smartphones or that benefit from proper controls.

Besides, Sony haven't said no AAA games, just that they're not top of the list for them. Third parties like EA and Ubisoft can still happily support it with their AAA games.

Subjective. Some people would prefer the new model that has better battery life, some internal memory and is apparently more comfortable to hold (though I have the OLED myself and don't think it's uncomfortable even after a couple of hours).

So if you had a choice you would stick with the original OLED? I own the original and have seen the new slim version, its a downgrade. The screen is cheap and lower resolution. The OLED produces colours beautifully and at a better resolution than the slim too! It's a no brainer, would stay well clear of the new version and go with the OLED if anyone is looking to buy a Vita.

Yet most reviews say that you wont notice much difference unless you play them side by side.
Also battery life is much better on the slim.
I have OLED version yet I cant understand why you keep telling people not to get the new one, its personal preference...

The resolution is the same on both models. Personally yeah I'm sticking with mine, but like I said other folks will have different priorities. The LCD model will probably last longer as well due to no screen burn-in. I just hope when mine dies there'll still be some OLEDs available on ebay or somewhere.

No it is not -_- lcd is poorer resolution and the slim is cheap and nasty. I have seen it and played it and compared to the OLED it's rubbish.

Not having this discussion anymore with you or that other individual above but please don't post nonsense when you have not played or tried the slim!

It is huge waste of time try to reason with you which you showed number of times on this forum. In few minutes I guess you start calling people names just to prove your point.

The simple fact is that if someone wants the new one with games this is the best deal now. If old one is of your liking go to the smyths toys

Original Vita Pros:
Oled screen. Much more vibrant
Premium build. More expensive looking build

Slim Vita Pros:
Lighter and slimmer
More battery life
Not Sony propiettory cable to connect and charge. Uses standard micro USB cable.
Better shaped for hand. More comfortable.
The touchscreen on back which gets accidently touched by players has been reworked and is smaller and has grips

I'm going for the Slim but will wait till other colours releases and also gets abit more cheaper. I already downloaded tons of vita games from PS+ :)

Yeah I've tried both a number of times and I prefer the slim overall. The main difference in the screen is the vibrancy of the colour palette; the resolution is the same and the LCD screen on the slim still looks very nice and not washed out like some cheaper LCDs. Better battery life, ergonomics, and not having to lug an extra charger around are more important factors to me.
