one that went the other way would be peachy.

Totally argee with you both on this... although it maybe a winner for someone who has a steering wheel which cost afew $$$s.

:-D

I picked up one from Renchi for my PS3...games that felt mediocre with a PS3 pad play fantastic with a 360 pad :w00t:

Don't think there's one for 360->PS2 though (well...3 minutes of googling didn't turn anything up :?)

I don't think I have small hands, but am I the only one that finds the 360 pad far too heavy and uncomfortable after an hour or so use? My thumb after playing COD (having had to press the left stick down quite a lot) is in serious pain.

Strange never seen one of these before, I used to be a big ps2 fan but feel the 360 pad is far superior, fits better in your hands, unless you have really small fingers.

The 360 pad is the BEST pad i ve ever used! 99%
Now if just had that snes d-pad it would be 100% complete!

I think its just what you're used to...I can game for hours with a 360 pad after 4 years of using it...the PS3 pad feels too small for me now, on top of the terrible analogue sticks and triggers.

Heavy gaming sessions don't help though...I developed a pain from overplaying Burnout 3 and holding down the boost button for hours on end. :-D

It's a bit like learning to play the guitar though...with enough repetition, the same activities will be less painful...there's not many games out there that demand as much left stick clicking as COD.

I bought my 360 back in 2006 (it is out of it's case now because it keeps dieing on me... bless) and the PS3 back in Dec. I have noticed that the analog sticks on the ps3 are much more smooth and accurately even when I used my 360 pads back in 2006 (not a wear and tear issue), whether mircosoft have improved their analog sticks... I don't know... What I do know is the PS3 pads allow me to snipe with a semi auto rifle at long range which is a winner because the scoped bolt actions just don't cut it for me.

Each to their own I guess.

Hmmm wonder if this will solve a problem I'm having...

I've got a PS2 to PC adaptor as I can't stand using keys when playing FPS. My problem is playing Lost Planet on PC. The PS2 controller works perfect except for the right analogue stick - when I push up to look up it looks left, push left it looks down, push down looks right and push right looks up! It works fine like a mouse in the menus but as soon as the action starts it does this. Tried using xpadder but still no joy. The game supports 360 pad.

You guys think this device would work?

Well i personally think this is a good deal as they normally go on a popular auctioning site for £7.50. I'm buying one for my girlfriend as she likes to play a lot of puzzle games on my xbox, i.e Tetris and lumine, and she uses the d-pad for them and since the 360's d-pad is god awful this seems to be the only way that she will fully enjoy them.
