People have had alot of trouble by using these codes and Very (known to most as Littlewoods) get the discounted money back months down the line when these codes are used illegaly (only meant for new customers and not everyone)

this is a joke. its like the cheapest around. I've used very.co.uk and also used them to buy a tv 2 weeks ago.

I don't see any of these people having trouble:

Give the guy a break !

Voted hot from me - it is the best deal around for a 250Gb PS3.
Granted Very are a bit strange in operating their codes (they seem to charge the full amount and deduct the discount codes on despatch - have to watch them as they forgot with me until I rang them up ... then they did 'refund')

However, I did get the discount as others should too. Post if you can find a cheaper deal, otherwise it is a hot deal.

Thanks OP, and don't get discouraged.

just to point out i used the 15% code for an LG TV 2 weeks ago and chose the BNPL option, receipt came up as the discounted price.

The reason why they havent had any trouble because they bought the tv in December. Give it a few months:)
Its great that you posted a deal but unfortunately this is one to avoid.

No worries, Simon - I've been keeping an eye on the 250Gb PS3 and this makes it about the cheapest I can recall.

I suppose people are wanting to see the raw price from the shops as they generally know about various discounts and quidco; so from that perspective everything at Very could get posted up as a deal if one applied the discount and quidco - but if someone is in the market for a PS3 they won't always remember or be aware of combining the deals - and to that end this deal is hot.

Will help you out, mate.
Littlewoods/Very are known to claw back every penny of a discount you obtained, if you werent entitled to use it. That includes:
Using new customer codes and being stupid enough to use same payment/address details.
Using a Littlewoods issued voucher on Very.
Plucking a code from Google/here and applying it to your order.

(Doesnt happen to everyone, but there are plenty of people on here and Google who will tell you all about it.)

Quidco also cannot be used in conjunction with a voucher/discount code many places and one of them is Littlewoods/Very. I don't know if it just doesnt validate or you lose the discount/voucher.

The TV deal you linked too, didnt need a discount code/voucher to be 600+degrees if you look at the OP.
You can apply one of these big discount vouchers to just about anything on Very and make it an insane bargain, so these "deals" often posted inoccently get very icy, very fast, so nothing personel, mate and best of luck if you have gone for this.
