Nice, i'd definitely pay £129. I want to play LBP and Uncharted 2 :)

(and GT5 of course!)

LBP and uncharted is the reason I got a ps3. Got mine from cash convertors aswell but this is still a good price.

is there a big difference between all these ps3 models? or is the 40gb just as good?

40Gb is a fine PS3. The older 60Gb's will play PS2 games but they tend to run hotter and louder.

the older 20gb and 60gb had 4 usb ports and ps2 hardware emulation. The newer 40, 80 and 160gb PS3 had only 2 usb ports and no ps2 hardware emulation. All older ps3s had the ability to install another OS (Linux) but this is not available on the PS3 slim. the 40GB one is fine, unless you want loads of music / films / save game stuff on there, but installing a new hdd is easy, in fact Sony show you how to do it in the instructions.

i'd just get a slim for the extra 30/40£ tbh with the guarantee.. not that I've actually got one...

Make sure you get an extended warranty on the 40gb models - the lasers have a tendency to fail.

Mine did and sony refused to fix it (was 16 months old).
