To prevent this being sold out I took the plunge - too bad my brother isn't around so couldn't ask if he wanted one too.

By the way someone posted on a previous deal from this merchant for a way to have a chance of getting quidco as well as using the voucher code:

Also first ordering from here and it didn't go as smoothly as I would of liked - chose to pay by paypal and after logging in it took me back to zoombits and asked for my card details :?

Went back and clicked on paying via paypal again, logged in again and then finally got my order completed with reference number.

Hopefully this will make a difference when playing SF4 :p

With no second analogue you wouldn't be able to turn.

How does it connect? USB?
#8
Yes it uses USB:)
You can also program combos to different buttons:thumbsup:

Does this stick have "clicky" buttons and a clicky stick?

Good find, H + R

Thanks for the info on the Quidco work around.
I had the same problem with Paypal throwing you back to Zoombits, but all you need to do is click "Confirm Payment". There is no need to log out and in again. It accepts the Paypal payment then.

My guess is that the Hori's are better - and if you have 2 why would you need this?
#14
Ordered one - thanks

It must help my SF4 skills - they can't get any worse :p
#15
I had one for SF4 from Amazon and sent it back. Terrible loose clicky stick and fudgey buttons - this is nothing like proper arcade cabinet button quality. Seriously, you are better off with the PS3 pad.

Edit - forgot to mention, there isn't enough room on it to rest your left (joystick) hand. Always hanging over the side so got very uncomfortable.

Out of interest, why would you wanna play Fallout with an arcade stick?
#17
Thats damn cheap.
#18
Good Deal :o) Cheers
#19
Wouldnt bother getting this stick tbh.

Best putting the extra money towards getting a Hori
#20
Great. Just what I was looking for. My poor thumb is killing me after a couple of hours on the ps3 D pad.:)

Ignore the snobs, this is a nice little arcade stick at a 'sane' price, unlike the hori sticks and the like (which they just butcher with mods anyways, so why spend the money!?) I just got the same stick (Branded as the Subsonic Arcade Stick) elswhere for £14.99 (store specific deal, so didn't post) and I love it. The stick is a liitle looser than most other arcade sticks, but that's more of a personal preferance than a flaw really. Besides working flawessly on the PS3 and PC, I doubt this is usable with anthing other than the PS2 phat though, as it is a USB type connector. It also has a really nice matt rubberised finish that I like.

Voted hot from me ;-)

Anyone's order moving along?
Mine has said ready to print for a few days.

Got an e-mail today saying that there has been a delay to my delivery due to the recent conditions, from the delivery estimate of 2-4 working days it has been extended to 5-7 days.

"Sorry!
Due to adverse weather conditions, we will encounter a short delay in fulfilling your order with us.
We apologise sincerely for this delay, and please be advised that our normal delivery period of 2-4 working days has been extended due to current weather conditions to 5-7 working days."

Update 11/01:
Got a e-mail today saying that it has been despatched and I should expect it in 1-4 working days, possibly extended further due to the adverse weather conditions - woohoo!
Not to fussed about the wait, hooked on Borderlands at the moment :-D

Update 16/01:
Item came in the post a couple of days ago and not too impressed with the packaging, opened it up to receive a fairly beaten up retail box.
Worst is that the disc with the PC drivers got heavily (imo) damaged (might have to contact zoombits if I can't find the drivers online - when I do I'll share the picture of the disk).

To those who got theirs delivered could they please upload the drivers on the disc - the only drivers available on the logic 3 website are for windows 7 which, when trying to run the .exe on my XP just ends with it encountering an error and asking if I want to send an error report...

I got this primarily to play on the PS3 but it would be nice to have the option to play on the PC.

Just sent an e-mail to Logic 3 Technical Support and Product Information and attached the following photo:

Final Update 18/01:
Logic 3 got back to me today and attached the necessary drivers install .exe - all working nicely. :D
One workaround (and perhaps better) I used was using a PS2 - PC converter then using the PS2 port - plus side of doing this rather than using usb is that the converter that I own allows up to two pads to be attached - younger brother plugged in a PS2 pad and we duked it out.

Received mine.. I found the joystick to be a little loose for my liking. Other than that a good buy. I use it for MAME games on the PC and it works brilliantly with that. Haven't tried it with the slimline PS3 yet though.

it is ok
