I will be lucky if this deal gets to boiling point but for me this is a good price for a decent wireless headset.

No frills, just cheap and good value.

Hope someone finds this useful

Pile of crap, uncomfortable , Worst headset ever. Do not buy.

I bought this one a month or so ago. Cheap, does the job. Don't need to shout because the mouth piece extends across the cheek. No problems with pairing with my ps3.
Advantage of this one is that it's not an in-ear headset, but sits on the outer ear. Don't feel uncomfortable sharing ;-D

As I said, no frills, just cheap, does the job. For the price of 2 pints I think its worth it

For you its great, but for the thousands of people who hear a constant high pitched background noise its not.

Buying this is pointless unless you enjoy the idea of being muted by everyone you meet online, including friends.

Judging by amazon and other reviews, it appears that there is a divide in user opinion on this equipment but for £8 its worth a punt. You can always return it...

I bought one of these myself about 2 years and i must admit it was terrible. Really uncomfortable to wear and no one can understand a word your saying since its all static and then theres the annoying buzzing noise. Honestly it sounds like the mic is in a fish tank ! I took mine back and stuck with the official sony headset, 2 years on and its still going strong. So take my advice if you want a happy gaming experience get the official sony headset, it might cost you slightly more but atleast you wont have to repeat everything you say 5 times. Do not go for the giotek its cheap, nasty and basically unusable, you'll only make enemies with it.

Well, Ive never used it so cant say anything but I would be surprised if a company would release something so shoddy for the PS3. Are you sure it wasnt a faulty product?

Well, at £8 its worth a shot anyhow

Try living in Reading (berkshire) - £4 a pint is quite normal

The official one, but expect to pay double this price. It comes with a stand for charging it though, and can do HD voice.

This is a brilliant headset. Ignore the plonker poster. I had this and gave it away because I spent umpteen amounts on the official PS3 headset, wish I'd never done that. It's alot more comfortable & works exactly the same. Great price.

Sorry, this might be allot more comfortable than the official PS3 one, but its rubbish and its still not comfortable when compared with lots of other mobile phone headsets or even the 360 one.

Whats the point in buying something with such a high failure rate? I'm failing to recognise where the value of owning something that will more than likely fail and leave you with an £8 paper weight?

Spend your money on something more reliable... As I said, I have personally owned 3 of these, how many have you owned? and your giving advice?? LOL

Also the PS3 supports pretty much any bluetooth headset, which means you can easily get a more reliable bargain elsewhere... fleabay has loads!!

I too was a bit skeptical on paying (at the time) £20 for the official Sony headset but it really is worth the money. Tried other headsets that came with my phone and the quality was either poor or they just didn't work at all.

I don't know about this one though, i suspect it'll probably be the same as all the other unofficial ones in terms of quality.

The official Sony headset is the only headset anyone should buy for their PS3.

I bought a couple of cheapy headsets when I first got my console but they all suffered with horrific feedback and buzzing noises. I don't like spending money if I can help it but I realised only the official headset gives you crystal clear sound quality and if you shop around you can get it for £17 odd last time I checked.
