I've found this deal and confirmed that this pre-order bundle will be released this week for a PS3 console with 2 games which are either Motorstorm and Resistance with an extra controller for £399.99 delivered or you can select the other bundle, which comes with 2 games F1 and Resistance with an extra controller for £399.99 delivered.

This seems a good deal, especially considering the extra controller and the 2 games would be no less than £90 for the lot, so it's as if you're buying the console for only £309.99

Hope that helps anyone looking for a PS3. :)

Even if it did can you imagine playing f1 n the 360's dpad it would suck

If you want an f1 games do like im gunna do maybe get a ps2 wen their dirt cheap or buy a ps3 when they are cheap

This deals ok

But considering the ps3 will come with an extra controller an 2 games that means the console price will be slashed to about £330 otherwise everyone will just buy this bundle and the shops will be stuck with more ps3 than they have now

Yeah Dan I would like to know that too.

Also playing driving game on a 360 dpad? I own a Microsoft steering wheel, if I don't use that I use the analog stick... who plays driving games with a dpad :giggle:

Who plays any game with the dpad? :giggle: virtually all games are designed around analog stick because it's much smoother to control the game with it. The Xbox360 is much better designed than the PS3 one aswell (which has poor placement).

The deal isn't bad though, £25 off the RRP, but as always with these shopto deals, they dont last very long usually. Console is still way too pricey, but as cheap as you're likely to find it when the new packs start.

Yeah try Street Fighter 2. I prefer the using the Dpad for some games.

Yeah I hate that driving level in SFII with the dpad, you win, the PS2 pad... oops I mean the PS3 pad is the best thing ever.

In fact, so good they are bring out a revised version soon.

Anyway back on topic , this is a ok deal.

Is the play.com deal with 3 games for £399 not better than this one?

it doesnt have 2 pads and from the reviews a 2nd pad seems a better option than genji, but you do get Click on bluray and hdmi cable so if you wanted them it would be

Too right. I ordered Overlord PC for £18 from Shopto two days before it was released on 29 June. All I got were 'status' emails for three Sundays on a row saying it was still 'on order'. Shopto advertise silly prices when they don't have the stock to fulfil the order, which makes them timewasters in my book.

If that's the case, i recommend you call/email Shopto, they're normally very helpful according to people mentioning problems that have arisen and at the end of the day, if something has gone wrong, they can't fix it without knowing about it.

The bundle states "stock due in" because it's a preorder for which will be released later this week, so no where has this bundle available at the moment but Shopto are reknowned for having arguably the fastest online delivery service, with most people stating they receive there orders the next morning, even when they complete orders during late afternoons.
