cool will have a look, i get 10% at woolworths too lol

I wonder if this will be instore as well, going through their website with the current offer (£425 for the above items) seems to indicate a delivery estimate of 28th August, and with a HD TV on the way I'm impatient! I think Toys R Us had a similar offer instore but the choice of movies was was better, may be with the elite coming out this weekend they will also drop the price for the weekend. Wonder what are the chances of walking in off the street and getting an Elite...

Apart from the Virgin deal, does anyone know of any better deals????

Looks Hot to me!
#4
Voted hotter than the very sun itself! Been waiting patiently since you first posted this message, logged in at 7am today and hey presto, there it is, £375 with all of the above. Now I wonder if my Quidco 5% will also track?

Hope this gets voted a bit hotter before the inevitable 360 v PS3 debate starts up!

Oh, I almost posted this as a new deal myself with an obvious thank you and credit' to yourself as it took me 10 minutes to find your post... might have been better to use the word Playstation in the title rather than PS3 which, unless you know how, you can't search the forum for.

Anyway, thanks for the heads-up, collecting from store next Thursday, yay!

Did anyone manage to get the 10% discount too?
#7
Checked this morning and as above worked great!

PS - what games did you go for?
#8
In addition, can anyone help?

I am looking for the best Component lead to suit the PS3, anyone recommend where I should buy from?

You can specify to collect it from the store, so I'm assuming it could be an instore offer too.

Plus I get 10% off too - so it's down to £337.50! Such a bargain, but the real question is.. do I really want one :?

I'd go for Fall of Man, and the F1

So would I. Both great games and two of the best at the moment IMO.
#12
I went for RFOM and Motorstorm in the end!

TBH - can see me playing RFOM for a while, but I am really just waiting for PES2008, but for that price I just had to buy now!

Fantastic deal, spotted this posted elsewhere and accused the poster of making it up....

Just an idea but if you want this deal but are not sure about the games (R:FoM is fantastic) call up your local blockbuster as you can trade some games in and get say Ghost Recon 2 which is released today for 9.99
#14
As above, link is now live for £375
#15
Anyone know if you can walk in off the street and pick this up instore, or do you have to order it first??
#16
Not sure, but if you do order online before anyway, you benefit from a further saving of £18.75 via quidco so surely worth it for that??

Tried that and it was saying it would be available for pick up on 30th August - almost a week away and AFTER the bank holiday:x

Considering the amount of time the PS3 has already been available to buy, waiting just an extra 6 days to earn £18.75 isn't too much of a hardship is it?!!!

Yes, up until today I didn't have a HD TV to do it justice, and in 6 days time we won't have the same free time to try it out. YMMV
#20
What's the 10% code that people are using?

TIA :)

Does this also stand for collection? I'm hoping to try and pick it up tomorrow from my local.

I ordered some stuff from Woolies and collected in store and my Quidco was declined.

I assumed it was because I didn't pay for delivery, if anyone knows any different please let me know.

I was going to get the deal from Asda (2 games and a controller for £399) using my mums 10% staff discount card but you have to have RFOM and Motorstorm.

Quidco states that the 5% is payable for all transactions completed wholly online. Although I'm having the items delivered to store, I still submitted my card details online which then passed a security check and have just been billed. As far as I'm concerned, that means the transaction was completed wholly online (as opposed to a PC World collect-at-store option, where they swipe and charge your card at the checkout in-store). Anyway, won't be majorly miffed if I don't get the Quidco as it's a very good deal anyway, that was just the tasty icing on an already scrummy cake.

Woolworths should only be showing as 5% on Quidco.

The current 10% Woolworths code (I assume you tried using the one named 'ISO...' ) relates to items featured in their e-newsletter.

Thw Woolworth site accepted the code..........a bonus if I'm successful.
#30
It accepted one of the 10% codes for me as well (from the Summer Discount thing!) but on my final bill / price it didn't show so I guess I couldn't use it!

To get quidco you don't put codes into the merchant site, those codes are applied by the merchant themselves. You are wasting your time trying to claim 10% back from quidco.
#32
The Wooly codes will get accepted, but won't do anything as they are not valid for the PS3.
#33
Great spot, I already have a PS3 but this is still a HOT deal!

Just to let you guys know, most stores will have these in stock, the only problems is that some stores are running out of the blu-ray films

Chris
#37
think i'll take a trip to woolworths tomorrow
#38
I reccomend that the people who take up on this deal sell the Blu ray films as your better of spending the money on another game than keeping the rubbish films.
