All PS3 Consoles £119.99 - Argos Clearance Bargains, Stanley Co. Durham (In Store)
Breaking my lurking silence to post a first deal!
Visited the Argos bargains store in Stanley this afternoon on the off chance of a cheap PS3 to play the Uncharted series on, after playing Golden Abyss on the Vita.
Surprised to find a big bargain star across a wall of PS3s saying "All PS3 consoles now £119.99"
They had 120Gb's 160Gb's and yes......loads of 320Gb's......less than £120 for a 320Gb Ps3 - I'll have one of those, thanks!
Can't imagine the 120's will go at any great speed ;)
Will post receipt proof as soon as I can work out inline URLs!

Jump to unread Post a CommentUnless hotukdealers have gone wild I'd say there'll be some left. It was just before 5pm yesterday when I was there and they had 3 shelf rows of 320s, around 7 across and looked like 3 deep, with more in a cage to the side (I know because she couldn't reach and asked somebody else to get one down to which he replied "I could, or I could just get one of those ones over there..")
So I'm going to estimate more than 20 320Gigs, at most half a dozen 160/120s
Here you go...
Aahaha, joker!!
Box was damaged a bit, but the console and accessories look brand new.
320GB has firmware 4.11
Thanks OP!
Edit: They are behind service counter, you need to ask for them.

most simple thing ever. Can pick up a 1tb for 60 - 70 quid no worries, and its all guided and does it automatically :)
No unscrewing the case or anything, just unclip, take out and replace :)
Buy an external hdd case for your hdd you take out, (few quid on ebay) and you have yourself a decent sized small external usb :)
Occasionally some faulty stuff gets into the mix, e.g. items that are hard to test for reliability being turned on once for example. To take the PS3 for instance. There may be a PS3 with a faulty fan, that isn't noticed till you've been gaming for an hour and your console overheats and starts crashing. To Argos, this might be sold as a fully working clearance product...
It's a lottery basically. But with the odds often in your favour.
You can't return a used item just because it's not for you. The 30 day money back guarantee is if you change your mind. A PS3 would have to sealed to be returned, then would be sold as normal
I may go in a bit and let you know, have you tried calling them?

For anyone interested, I've just called Walsall, they have the 320gb for £150 and the 250gb for £130. Hope this helps.

Rip off that each store has them at different prices... £150 for 320gig ....£119 in other stores..... rip off !
I must have scored - box was perfect too.
Apologies to anyone who's now spent £120 they weren't planning to :)
Bought 5 cds. They asked for 50p, I offered £2 and then had to argue as they thought it was too expensive.
lovely jubbly.

I wouldn't say rip off...like the DSG clearance warehouses..they have differing prices...it all depends on stocks in each of the warehouses..these are clearance places each having differing levels of differing stocks of ex catalogue Argos products, with differing managers specials
