This is the lowest price on the market by a good couple quid (the closest prices which are from Play and Amazon generally take about a week to arrive though, whereas this is next day) but on top of that, Shopto are offering a free Sackboy Figurine while stocks last.
LittleBigPlanet is regarded as one of the best games on the PS3, receiving rave reviews from everywhere including 95% from the highly reputable IGN stating:

"Media Molecule has created a brilliant platformer, and then given you the tools to recreate the whole thing over again, or better yet, to create your own ideas from scratch. It's not perfect - the controls could be tighter, automatically shifting between planes can be problematic, the editor isn't quite as robust as you might hope - but what's there is nothing short of astounding."

Don't forget to go through Quidco to receive 4% cashback, making this a very attractive £26.87 including free first class recorded delivery.

Hope that helps. :)

Dunno why this was at -8. Some crazy fanboy action, I suspect. Good price and I had some cash vouchers for those guys too, so worked out at £25.99 - 4% quidco. Great deal for this fantastic game. My little boy will love this + the sack boy figuring. Voted hot.

It would be hot without the figurine. With it I can barely stand the temperature in this place.

So is it a plastic statue figurine? Would have prefered a plush soft 'sacky' sackboy.
#14
wonder if stocks are still lasting?!

Would love a little sackboy figure.

And a couple to sell on!!

Yeah, hard plastic. Or so I was told.
That's rather ridiculous. Maybe my Granny can make me a real Sackboy - She won't be expecting that from her 26 year old Grandson
#17
make you own..... knit one pearl one :P
#18
Shame it not a soft one...............

website states "Sackboy Figurine - approximately 3" inches tall and made from hard plastic"
#19
Yeah shame, should have been like the Monkee with PG Tips.

#26
would this game be fun to a fps lover? asking this as my friend wants some new ps3 games
#27
nice to see you have the same avatar as me ben3110

I tried to put a figure in my basket sneakily but it doesn't even let you add if you've not placed a preorder. That's pretty nifty coding. I've won one of these in a Sony LBP level making contest but they never sent me my prizes! I want one :P

I find shopto a bit of a joke I pre-ordered the game with them months ago for £36.99 so i could get the figurine however they emailed me a week before release date explaining they could not obtain them and sent a cheapo t-shirt to compensate. Now a week later they micraculously have them in stock and reduced the price of the game by £9 with the figurine included and want to charge me an extra £1.50 to send me one. So much for per-ordering! Jokers! avoid! rant over :)

Hear hear! This was exactly my experience too. I find it a complete disgrace. I have always had pretty decent service from Shopto, but this is a complete joke and I honestly can't see me using them again any more, even if they sometimes have bargain prices.

It's not a preorder, as it's already released but it's currently out of stock but according to their homepage, they're getting more instock on Monday.

These figurines look so cool......I'm tempted to tell my friend to buy the game and give me the toy. :giggle:

I think they dropped the price because suppliers reduced there selling price, which is how Amazon and Play.com have also followed suit and lowered there price to £29.99, so that would explain a lot.
Unfortunately it's something that we all have to put up with when we want to buy our games earlier than everyone else, as a lot of games have been getting cheaper shortly after release dates but we were willing to pay the price at the time.

I ordered pressies from thetoyshop and 2 of the items were reduced before they were even dispatched days later but I couldn't cancel the order but I don't mind too much because I was chuffed with the price I bought them for but would of been just a little happier if I saved the £10 difference, so understand where you're coming from.

The main reason I ordered the presents earlier though is because I was going to order some different toys from Play.com and they had increased their prices, so I just wanted to make sure I bought the gifts before the price increased here too and or went out of stock.

I don't think Shopto are really being out of order if they sent you a t-shirt anyway and you can buy the figurine for £1.50 regardless and got a free t-shirt out of it. :)

realfriendlyman, i'm sorry but i totally disagree with you they must have been aware that they would recieve the figurines otherwise they would not appear for sale a few days after they dispatched my order As for the T-shirt your welcome to mine as it's more like a child's size. :)

I've emailed shop.to but no reply and looking at the comments on the LBP page I'm not likely to get one either. I'll avoid them in future as will a lot of other ex-customers

Am I missing something here Co's it looks like they just saved you £9 order now (well you could of if it had not been now oos) and you get what you were going to get for £36.99 now @ £27.99

Fair enough 1 week later than release date or maybe 2 weeks

MY EDIT oh unless you mean they could not get the figurine and you still got game and they gave you t shirt as compo. I c that will be what you mean. Yeah if that is case it's unfortunate they had to do that.

Hmmm, well maybe give it to a kid cos I'm quite broad but thanks for the offer. lol

I do hear where you're coming from but from experience, suppliers do randomly get more stock, so it could of been a stroke of luck.
It seems like you're saying they wanted to hold it back for other customers after they've lowered there price but why would they do that cos it doesn't make any sense?

Other retailers have lowered there prices too and are more established and it had happened to me when I ordered Powerballs last year from Play.com and my items hadn't even been dispatched yet when the pricedrop occurred.
They simply explained how there suppliers dictate there prices.

Yes. That is exactly what happened. Not only that, but their reason for not supplying the figurine was because they said it had to do with European copyright issues and they couldnt supply the figurine because of that! Well that copyright issue must have been cleared up pretty soon don't you think. I didnt want a t-shirt... I wanted the figurine (or rather my daughter did) - that was the reason I chose to preorder from them. I am not at all bothered at the price drop as I know that is bound to happen, I am annoyed that they now seem to have a supply of figurines that they previously said they could not provide.

send em back the t-shirt now that they have the figurine and tell them that your daughter is having nightmares as she is terrified of tshirts

I just thought of something...didn't you get a £3 voucher with the order?

If you did, then you can use it to order the figurine without costing you a penny and you got an extra free t-shirt out of it. :)
TBH though, if it was a delay from Sony's side, I don't exactly know what you expected Shopto to do, as delaying the game, so it could be dispatched with the figurine would of caused negative publicity and sending them out seperately because of Sonys delay would of cost them there profit margin, as the profit on games are practically zero.

Anyway, the solution is to order the figurine seperately and use the voucher.

very good deal but makes me wonder why i pre-order games anymore -_-

Each of the last 3 games i've bought have come down significatly in price a week later :(

Anyways noticed you can buy the sack boy figure of the set seperatly, bought that with a £2 free voucher i added to my accoutn a few months back ^_^
