i saw a list of which of the * games you can exchange and pay £9.99 for any chart game.
by far the cheapest is enchanted arms which can be got for the princly sum of £17.99
http://www.dvd.co.uk/product.asp?id=ENCHARMSPS3&PURL=dvddeals.at/findDVD&P36=5ZB4BM&CID=0&CTY=8

2% cash back ordering it through quidco

best for the new new games i would guess but you can get ninja gaiden for £27.99 using this.
obviously if you want any of the ps3 games then take enchanted arms in and pay the £9.99 ( or take 2 in, get store credit of at least £20 on the one and hand the other one over for the exchange, then they will take £9.99 from your credit to pay for the rest.

this leaves you £10 credit and the game you wanted, for the ocst of £38 ( 2 enchanted arms).

NOW, if you had ordered 3 copies of enchanted arms at the same time, go back 2 days later with the other copy and get another game of your choice as you still have £10.01 left in credit from 2 days before.
you have 2 new games you want for £54

£27 each is not bad for some of the games like the darkness (£34 is cheapest online), ninja gaiden (£34.87 is cheapest online), rainbow 6 las vegas ( £35 online) and a couple others, just a shame there are not many good ps3 games out at the moment, i will be getting rid of enchanted arms though , i purchased it and never got round to playing it and now have blue dragon on the xbox360 so will probably never play enchanted arms.

shame i dont know how long this is on for with enchanted arms as there are some good games apparently coming out next month including sega rally and driver ignition ( probably be delayed like all the good ones).

enjoy.

'fraid I'm voting this cold - I don't have a problem with the method/concept but how many times do people have to be told about taking advantage of Blockbuster trade-in figures? We get one of these posts once every couple of weeks and its mostly commonsense.
So its cold for me......

A much better way of posting these is to have one gamestation/blockbuster thread which is updated instead of a seperate thread each time.

Would be useful if you actually us what the " * " games are on the trade in and pay £10 deal. Both ps3 and xbox 360???

Voting cold, mainly because you've just bought a game for £17.99...

?

this is for PS3 games, sorry i cant remember the 10 or 12 games off the list, i looked through and the cheapest one is the one i stated.

this isnt a trade for credit deal, it is taking advantage of the now started up again after it had been stopped, trade in a ps3 game in their selected list and pay £9.99.

thus it was not posted in the trade in for credit post which is around.

use it or dont, im not bothered, i will be swapping my untouched enchanted arms and using £9.99 of credit and will probably get myself heavenly sword as these lists last for a couple of weeks.

yep , ordering something off the internet and having it delivered to your house, then you have to go to your blockbusters.

what a todo.

as most games are £8 more expensive online than doing this, so £16 min saved, who cares eh?

it is worth doing as you can make £7/£8 a time. A month or so ago bought a copy of Rainbow six vegas for £19 from Tesco and traded it in at the Blockbuster just up the road for £26 credit.....

But why not just have a Blockbuster/Gamestation/CEX Trade-in thread and all good trade-ins posted there...

Lol, if you've got the money to waste on the overpriced PS3 I doubt you'd be too worried about £7-8 extra for a game :whistling:

i CAN afford things because i look for the best deals, dont be so bitter just because you are poor.

:-(

25% off anything is better than whining about having to do something to get it. try posting a deal.

i have voted hot because it saves me money.

ps3 games are a rip-off, so if i can save a few quid all the better!

blockbuster is a great store and is where i bought my console.

the staff at my local are great and only to helpfull to let me know of a deal.

no problems at all with this post.

many thanks:thumbsup:

Voted Hot. At the end of the day, the deal saved the buyer money.

Thanks OP for the effort to make the post.
#12
Thanks, there might be other threads similar but being reminded of savings to be made must be a good thing right, especially as the OP said what the cheapest game was to do this with.

Good idea but i hate my local blockbusters. Cex has better prices but the staff are really well lets say not polite.
