Just ordered - Good price. Thanks!

Avoid this game on the PS3 like the plague.

There are all sorts of lag issues, frame rate issues and other stuff.

There's actually an online petition against this game, since Valve have released a shoddy half-finished game.

Check for the petition via google.

I thought the PS3 version was patched?

360 Version is fine for me

EA handled the console ports not Valve.

The PS3 probs are NOTHING like any on the 360. So get your facts correct MORON. Please people, do a bit of looking into this and realise the disgusting and shameful way EA / Valve have treated their customers over this. And please ignore the fool who made the 'same as 360' comment - the PS3 version has so many bugs/glitches/faults it would be laughable if it weren't for the fact that the problem is still going on months later and the game is still being sold. Honestly, the game becomes unplayable a lot of the time and you would be out of your mind to consider buying this at ANY price. Google it and listen to the warnings. A joke !!

I've read mixed reports regarding the PS3 version. Some people say the slowdowns were minor and were due to the autosave kicking in and was barely noticeable, while some others make it sound like the game runs like a slow motion slideshow. I think some people were just expecting it to be bad and were looking for faults.

I love the Half life series so voted HOT!

Epsisode 3 shouldn't be too long now either (teasers just been released) and Project Black Mesa will make everything complete for me :)

Well thats your opinion - which I respect. Ask yourself how many games on the PS3 have developed petitons and so much negativity with regards to bugs/patches. But my main gripe was with the fool saying 'same as 360 then' - complete rubbish. I have the 360 version and it plays fine. Hence I didnt get it for PS3, a mate did and even after the 'patch' the things I saw (and he has experienced since) are beyond a joke. But typical EA - blame Valve, and then contact Valve and they send you in EA's direction. Should have been fixed properly a long time ago.

Thanks for backing up my warning mafustokes.

EA/Valve should not get away with putting this so called game for sale.
The worst part for me is that all games are meant to go through some sort of quality checking process by Sony themselves! How this one slipped the net I'll never know.

I've ordered it. Loved the first half-life on the PC so many thanks for the find.

Agree, shouldnt be on sale. And their reluctance to support/update/patch the PS3 version (whilst being quite happy to do so with the 360/pc version) is just way out of order - especially considering how long its been out.
Here's the bottom line as far as I'm concerned : Ok, I'm not saying every single PS3 player has had the same experience, but the number who have had problems with this should be enough to justify warning people before buying it.

Have you actually played it on the PS3?

Voted hot.

Have completed this game on the ps3 all half-life episodes and portal, had no bugs/glitches/faults. Did not play Team Fortress long enougth to give a response to any lag issues. The load/saves times are long but would definetly still recommend this game and have given heat.

I have this on the PS3 allready (otherwise I would be jumping to order), I have to say it is just as good as the PC version (which I also have) and have never had any probs!!!

Half life, portal and team fortress work well and it is a dam sight easier to play on a large telly in your living room -- SO BUY IT -- IT ROCKS!!!
