Excellent price - ordered one.

If the PS3 is in it for the long run and keeps going for 10 yrs (or whatever it is they say) then there will be plenty of opportunities to use this over the next few years.

I regretted missing out on the Dreamcast arcade stick and I'm not making that mistake again.

Be warned as although this looks to be a good debvice it has been slated by the US and Asian markets. Maybe because they have more choice over controllers/joysticks.

Also this is unlikely to be compatiable with PS3 games making it's function bit weak. PS beat em ups consist of VF5 currently.

Good price, but I suspect this is just going to keep dropping especially when more robust devices come on the european market.

i just checked at IGN.. it got a good review there. only downer is the price which in this case.. its less than half

Are they still making the PS3? i thought they decided to give up ;-)

Yes, I'm afraid so... it seems like Sony have sent the contract to make the PS3's to some Japanese Sweat Shops (most likely using small children) to make the units...

Tutz Tutz Sony.... So we should see the prices drop even more now that no is buying them anyway and that they are trying to find cheaper ways to make the unit....

I still don't know what is wrong with playing Pong............ you get more fun on that than you do on the PS3.... no frills, no costs just gaming

You can use this with the PC as well as it has a standard USB Connection. Great for MAME set-up's etc.

Thanks... that answered my query about whether it was wireless or not.

Does anybody know if you get a USB cable with the Hori Fighting Stick 3 and, if so, what length is it?

aah wireless would be ace!

I used to have the Hori Fighting Stick 2 for the PS2. It was an ok stick but nothing compared to the good old yellow buttoned Namco stick.

It is better than the FS3 though because it has a better button layout.

FYI:
At Renchi.com...

"PS3 Real Arcade Pro 3 Fighting Stick - Hori (HP3-07)"
===
This behemoth of an Arcade Stick is THE choice for the ultimate in Authentic Arcade gaming. Measuring a beastly 412mm x 243mm, and a hefty 2600g, this Hori Real Arcade Pro Stick is a real heavyweight.

Hear the sound of the micro-switches as you're pulling off some moves on the stick, just like in the Arcade, and the stick will remain sturdy and stationery. It won't move around when you're trying to pull off that crucial combo maneuverer.

The buttons are analog should you require a deft touch or a hard one, and also comes with Turbo functions. The finish of this product is sublime, and the top panel has a mock carbon composite design. Bring the Arcade experience into your home, without the need for smoky air and funny smells!
