Great find,

ordered :D

May sound a lot for a keypad, but this is hot people. I didn't realise what they was worth until I sold my old one on ebay and it went for over £40, couldn't understand why. Then I saw them selling for upto £60 new, and they wasn't even in the UK (upto 2 weeks postage from China).

These are very good quality, and the scrolling feature is really smart, but over all, quite fiddly to use and I found i rarely ever had it attached to my pad.

Yeah mate, deffo good price, as most UK places don't even have them in stock!

Scan.co.uk have had them on back order since 21st March, and only recently have changed their status to say due in on the 1st June. I heard some 'rumour' somewhere too, saying they may actually be discontinued. Doubt this, but dunno.

I was actually ragin' i didn't buy one upon release from GAME or PLAY, as were £17.99. I have to admit i was thinking, why? Lol! Then, as i started playing more online, mainly Fifa, then i think this would be very useful, for in-game chat and banter, etc.

Not used, so can't comment on if its fiddly etc, but i like the fact its small and compact, easy to attach, and apparently has a good 'glide' feature for surfing web etc too.

Cheers.

fine if you are going to sell on but this is no susbstitute for a proper wireless keyboard and mouse (about £15-£20 to buy for a ps3)

Mate, site is for good deals, regarding availabilty and price, no if the item is better than a standard keyboard, etc!

Also, don't think should be advertising profiteering on here, haha! :p

Cheers.

i rarely have mine clipped onto my controller (does not need to be connected to controller to work) .. just have it at my side and pick it up when I need to use it

brilliant piece of kit. battery life is excellent.

oooh, sorry for offering sound advice! :whistling:

believe me, this is only suitable for kiddies or adults with titchy fingers as buttons are smaller than a mobile phone.

didnt actually vote but now just given it -9 lol

Cheers gone for one on all of your recommendations :)

Haha, mate, wasn't having a guy, was light-hearted jest, as yes people willl find a normal keyboard easier to use perhaps, but not everyone wants the clutter it brings, and i know these keypads are highly sought after.

Thanks for the 'cold' vote though mate, appreciated! :p

Nice to know people don't vote based on the deal, more to do with comment OP posts, haha!

Lol you voted this cold because of your OWN views and not for the deal :?. I ordered one as to have a full size keyboard and mouse in front of the TV I do not have the space and just would not look right. Cannot find this cheaper or in stock anywhere else. Again good find

as said earlier, its fine if you have girlie fingers. My hands are big so buttons are far too fiddly.

My keyboard / mouse fits fine under a coffee table that has a shelf. Only used it twice in a year though as never really find a use for it.
#17
to be honest I can't see there being any profit on them on ebay as you'll all be selling them... They seem like a kinda good idea though, better than having a full size keyboard laying around.
#18
Seems they have hundreds of them in too, so looks like they won't sell out anytime soon.

Christ these are in stock? Ive been looking for one of these since October last year!!!! These things are like gold dust

Refuse to pay £40 for it, so anyone who is even considered it, just get one.

My 10 year old son got one + the full size keyboard. Never uses the full size one but is getting great use from the clip on one. He uses only his thumbs to type messages on it and is really fast on it now.
Didn't realise they had gone up in price so much. (paid £19 something for his months ago)
Must vote hot for this price now

Scorching deal.
#24
Didn't realise these were a scarcity. I held off buying one at Play a few months back cos I thought £25 was a bit steep. Not dirt cheap but I'm happy enough paying sub £20 for the convenience I'll get from this item.

Ordered mine about an hour ago, looking forward to not having to spend 5 mins composing a message using a dualshock3.
#25
Wish they lit up though when typing on them.

Hope Sony are going to correct that oversight in next release. Maybe that is why these are so hard to come by as Sony ain't made any more of these and are working on new version.
#26
Got one thanks!!
#27
cheers, just got one :)

decent price but i find a full size keyboard easier (cheaper) to use.
#29
Heat added. Just order one

makes my controller look ugly and too heavy
#31
Well worth the money. Prefer this over a big keyboard!

I tried to eat one of these last week. It tastes absolutely horrible. The plastic is really hard and there are bits of metal inside it.
#33
Seems like a good deal. Wouldnt mind having a look at the big keyboard before I buy. Anyone know where to get the cheapest big keyboard from?

Great price a great addition if you want to make the most of the PS3 internet browsing capabilities...

Speaking of which..
VidZone, a free music video streaming service, will launch on PS3 this summer as an integrated feature of the console's XMB menu.

The service will allow you to view thousands of music videos, streamed via the internet straight to the PS3, without asking you for single penny.

"It's a brand new, free service that gives you the freedom to view thousands of music videos on demand by streaming them directly to PS3.

The new software, which Sony says is "backed by several Major record labels as well as thousands of Independent labels", will pop up under the music icon on your PS3 XMB, as the screenshot on this page shows.

You'll also be able to "put together and save your own music video library, creating custom playlists for every occasion that you can stop, fast forward and rewind", explains Sony. You'll also be able to create playlists on your PSP while out and about, ready to stream on your PS3 when you get home.

VidZone CTO and director of digital business development, Michael Russo, says the new service "provides users one of the world's largest collection of music videos, allowing consumers to stream what they want, when they want it."

Anyone know if this could be made to work with a computer? Would be great for my Ubuntu Asus EEE Carputer.

Should I get one ? :?

Well I have the equivalent Microsoft keayboard for the XBOX 360 controller and I found it very good, with the XBOX one you can use it for MSN whilst you are playing a game, chatting with friends, inputing codes, etc, I think it's brilliant. So I would imagine that this it would be the same thing.

The controller might become a bit heavier with this but it's just a matter of getting used to.

I try using the keyboard of the XBOX 360 controller on the PC and for some reason I can not get it to work. Maybe the PS3 one does work. It would be nice to know.

It works-it is bluetooth.

HOWEVER, once you pair it to another host (PC) you need to re-pair it with your ps3 if you want to use it there also.
