Try renting L.A. Noire as it's main story can be finished in 3 or 4 evenings but it's well worth the ride. If you must own, definitely still go for L.A. Noire, as you'll still get a good trade-in value - Rockstar don't like retailers discounting their games until after 3 or so months after release.

On release i rang my local game. They said £25-30 (can't remember which) trade-in £20 cash The cash price was low, i have a £40 voucher but want cash instead :(

Cold.

If I buy LA Noire from Gamestation it'd be £39.99. I got mine from HMV pre-order for £31.99 with DLC.

I never use game or gamestation because they are so overpriced, and these reward things still don't make it as cheap to buy online.

That's a very positive spin on it. I would say that they have realised that they can't get away with charging you to join their club (which was always free) and so it is now free again. Joined at the weekend when I traded Brink in as it got me around 2350 points (worth £5.88)

Voted hot for the price

BTW Blockbuster do a 5 day rental for £5 on new releases, couldn't see LA Noire, all copies must have been out.

i paid £3 for game reward card like an idiot, i have not used it since. these reward cards are only useful when they are combined with topcashback/quidco to buy preowned games. never buy games from these highstreet shops, they all marked up.

Hasn't Gamestation's card always been free? I like it because I get points when trading in, and usually get them to beat HMV or Cex, so pretty much the best prices you can get. My points are going to help me with this autumn/winter season, got U3, AC Revelations, BF3, MW3 all within 11 days of each other, all are MP games I love.
