Whilst it's still a bloody expensive peripheral - those in the market for it can save a few quid with Zavvi's £6 quidco discount code, plus the 3.5% quidco cashback & apparently the walkers 10% code works on top of this - meaning you could be looking at getting this down to around £50 if all the cashback comes through.

Obviously I appreciate that not many people will be buying this outright, since you can only use it with the new game - but since the combo pack of the instrument and game is about £100 most places - with the supermarkets likely to do deals on RB3 on release, i'd imagine it'll be cheaper to buy them seperately!

I also accept that these plastic instruments come right down in price once HMV et al have piles of them sitting around. This is the best price going for it right now, not a few months time!

Shame that they couldn't utilise a USB Midi interface instead so you could hook up any midi keyboard you wished.

*EDIT* Just found out you can get a USB Midi Pro adapter, whilst this is a good price for the keyboard now, I somehow feel money would be better spent on a second hand keyboard and get the best of both worlds.

Apparently there is? It's Madkatz branded and lets you use both real guitars and keyboards through a USB Midi adaptor?

Yeah thanks, found out whilst you were posting yourself!...thats great news they are not just cashing in on a proprietary peripheral, kudos to Harmonix for that.

Nice, looks quite hackable for other uses

Well there's only really ever one use for a keyboard surely? lol

Dont bother !!!!

I preordered it at this price weeks ago. Mine still hasnt been dispatched, so i phoned them a few hours ago only to be told that they dont have any stock yet. Usually Zavvi preorders are dispatched Mon for delivery Thu/Fri, so theres no way i`ll recieve this on release date.
Im seriously thinking about cancelling my order and waiting till Friday to get it from a supermarket.

The quidco60 dosent work with 10%, so the cheapest you can get it (minus quidco) is £58.50

It's still cheaper than anywhere else. I've not had any bad experiences with Zavvi.

Nope, i agree its cheapest. Hence why i preordered it a few weeks ago, and i usually dont have much bother with Zavvi either. However, in this instance im just warning anyone that orders it (for 360 at least), its highly likely they wont get it on release day. For an extra £4 i think i would rather get it tommorow than wait till next week, thats all.

PS dont foregt to download the free Doors tracks until Sunday

Cheers for that update, you never know the customer services people might just be a bit clueless and it's already on its way to you?

Unfortunately not - its still 'processing' under my order history and still gives me the option to cancel. It states order dispatch estimate as 29/10/10 , but Zavvi always states the release date as the est dispatch date and usually dispatch ahead of the date given (usually on the Monday). But not in this case.

Im abit bummed cause shopto had it in stock yesterday and i did contemplate cancelling my Zavii order so that i would get it from shopto today.
