no the games won't recognise them:whistling:

good price, and have voted hot, but from personal experience of these, the quality is quite noticably less than the the wired ones (interference, hiss etc), so we end up using the wired ones as first choice.. :O(
#9
I much prefer the wireless ones. They are more solid feeling than the wired. also it s a godsend with no wires.
Personally dont get a problem with interference.
#10
Thank you! Was just about to buy these for £30 from Amazon!!!

That's the complete opposite to what we have seen with these wireless mics, the original mics were OK but these wireless ones are fantastic quality, no interference or hiss, and there is plenty of wi-fi/bluetooth going on around at home, maybe yours are faulty and need replacing? I'd recommend these to anyone who loves Singstar, and a brilliant price!

Is this instore by any chance?
#13
Nice find. Gonna go grab myself a pair, should keep the missus happy for a while. ;p
#14

#18

These are not even wireless let alone Sony

Ordered a pair last week and they arrived this Tuesday - WIRED MS Brand - look nothing like the pic on the website which is the Sony brand Wireless set available everywhere else.

Arranged return and sent them back - Cust Servs told me they were either old stock (yeah right) or someone had made a big mistake on the website.

No offer to compensate me for my wasted time or phone call.

Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier to let ppl know.

Back in stock again, thanks for the update 'swanlake'.
#24
no problem sigma. Was looking how to unexpire something - but had no luck (honestly in work and didn't have time to dig deeper :)
#25
so when delivered properly, are these the real deal>? e.g. sony brand and wireless?

No - I have just had mine delivered this morning - they are NOT Sony branded mics, nor are they wireless. They are some third party, M&S branded wired tat - I am not a happy bunny! :x

Sending mine straight back this morning, and I have asked them to pull/change their item description/pic on the website............

M&S knew about this mess early last week and it's STILL on the website. Very poor show IMO.

I've sent mine back and am still waiting for a refund/ someone to get in touch. Really inconvenient as I wanted these quickly. :(
#28
Looks like M&S finally wised up and pulled the item.

I emailed to check the new order was going to be for the right thing this time, and just received this reply:

Thanks for your email about the Sony wireless microphones you've ordered.

I'm sorry to hear you received the wrong item when you previously ordered from us, I can understand any frustration this may have caused you. However, I'm glad you've brought this to my attention.

I've looked into your order and can confirm you'll be sent Sony wireless microphones like the ones shown on the website. I can understand how your previous experience may have made you feel a bit uneasy about this order but I assure you you'll receive the correct item.

Thanks again for your email Mark. I'm glad I was able to help you with this and I hope you have a lovely day.

Just had mine delivered, wired and own brand. Spoke to customer services and am taking them back to a store, said the website was wrong and she would pass it on to the web-people. No offer of a voucher, should have read this thread before I called.

Has anybody actually received wireless mics with this offer? person I spoke to said there were none even listed on her system.

Got my cruddy M&S mics today, customer services only offered a £5 voucher (even after a battle), and confirmed to me that the Sony wireless mics are NOT available. Even though I read the email above

They have made a real mess of this - will be interesting to see how your new order pans out mar< - if they do actually have some wireless mics, I will be reordering (not holding out much hope though)

I've emailed again to triple check what they said in my last email, also saying that other people had tried very hard and been told there was no such thing in stock.

Thanks everyone.
#38
Cheers for this thread guys, decided to cancel my order with M&S and go with Blockbuster for the extra £5. Will see what turns up.
