Back in stock!!

These are really good - bought these last time they were in stock (xmas time) And even though the advert says ps3, on the pack itself it says PS3/WII and it has a little switch box depending on what console you are playing

Don't forget Quidco to make it a bit cheaper

Thanks Avebell
My wife and kids are wanting wireless singstar mics.
Is there much between these and the official ones as obviously there is a big price difference?

Well I only have wired official ones, so can't exactly compare but I'd say they are a bit lighter and they use green colour band instead of blue. Also we've noticed when kids were playing some interference was occuring and we figured it out as it was due to them constantly grabbing on anthena/wire thingy at the bottom of the mic (however I'm not sure if official ones don't do that either) They definitely work and kids love them as they don't have to put up with wires on the way

And OOS again - who managed to grab those?

I bought some off eBay a while back that LOOK like these - I assume they are the same.

Receivers have a switch: singstarwii/ps2/ps3

BASICALLY THEY ARE TERRIBLE

buzzing noise all the time (it's not interference, just horrible horrible buzzing!)
they simply don't work on most singstar/non-singstar games
only one can be used at any time since they both seem to lock on to one receiver - depending on which receiver is turned on/plugged in first

if they hadn't arrived in separate packaging I would have assumed them both to be defective. only reason i didn't immediately return them is that for varouis reasons it was over a month before I actually got to use them.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

i've since got myself offical wireless singstar mics and they are pretty good - 4/5 - no regrets there

OOS - a steal at this price, what's the chances of them being back in stock?

That sounds strange. I haven't had any of those issues that you describe. No buzzing, nothing and I definitely can use both microphones at the same time. I think you might have been unlucky to get a faulty pair or something.

Not sure seems to be on/off thing though.

it could even have been a similar-looking but different product. but they have identical usb adapters and wireless transmitters. I don't know. maybe I just got mega-unlucky!
