I'm really not sure if I should get this... I mean I will get it eventually, but the current lack of games for vr is really a turn off for me at the moment. :/

Just note it will come with European plug so you will need to get a cable don't expect to play it Christmas Day with out it

Is VR the new 3D, I don't see many people watching 3D movies at home.

This is what im thinking too. A mate of mine has a HTC vr headset and super computer set up coming in a few days, cost him a couple of grand. I'm sure it will be amazing the first time I try it but then so was 3d, the Nintendo Wii, Xbox Kinect and 4k the first time I saw them but got bored with them all in a couple of weeks.

I've had mine since launch and use it at least 4 times a week. I find it has more than enough games rush of blood is one of my favourites and the ability to play normal games on it is a nice feature means I don't have to hog the tv. If you own a PC be sure to check Trinus PS VR as that way you get vr for both PS4 and PC.

I had the same feeling but took the plunge, turns out vr is nothing like normal gaming, I'm playing games that I would hate in 2d but love them in VR. Do it!

Nothing like 3D, VR is no gimmick that will die out, it will take a while for the content to develop but it's a completely new way of viewing things and we are not just talking gaming but everything else that currently uses a monitor or screen. Film seems the likely next area for development in VR

Thank you for listing. After us managing to get one ordered from Argos at the weekend they decided to actually only deliver the camera and game yesterday but no Vr (but took all the money)!!!
Have now ordered this but any idea what I will need to play it? Will it just be an eu to U.K. Plug?
Thanks

I keep looking at PS VR but know I would regret it longer term.

I'm holding out for the wireless iterations that will come in due course. I've not tried it yet but generally the responses are positive. Once the graphics cards get powerful enough we might get higher resolution VR which will also help - and hoping Scorpio can do something on this front.

It's unlike me to wait and see because I like new tech.

Will a EU-UK converter adapter work?

Is there anything we need to consider?

you can just insert something sharp on the middle hole to open the flaps and stick the European plug in the English socket. voltage is the same so it works fine. some European plugs are thicker so they won't fit though
