Overly inflated original prices!

FYI Need For Speed is also part of the US PSN sale right now and is $30 (around £19) for the PS4 version

Why 2 copies? Anyway, not the complete edition, but that's not available physically. Plus, it's regularly been around £20, so really not a great deal...

I dont understand how they can say Access is poor value, less than £20 for ...8?...games, with more to be added.
Saves the process of buying/trading/making a loss.

Because Sony allow to download to 2 separate consoles using same user name. Effectively 2 copies of the game running on 2 separate machines

This does not mean that any digital game, less than twice the cost of the physical, is a bargain...

UFC tomorrow.

when EA access started I sold BF4 for £24 and purchased a 12 month sub for £19.99 so for me EA Access was a no brainer.

I know not everyone this will be a bargain for but to some it will be, me and my brother for example it works out at £15 each, which is a bargain. To simply say it's not a deal is wrong

I think you are confusing you and your brother considering this option as it gives you personally some value, with it being a deal.

I can buy a £30 physical game between me and 9 mates, and pass it around so we can all complete it at the cost of £3 each. This might be what we want to do and gives us value but it is not a deal, and does not mean the game elsewhere at a different price is not a deal.

Glad you get some value out of digital downloads by sharing, but you are the minority and the deal should be the cost of one game for one person.

EA Access isn't free though is it and what would you expect Sony to say when a rival launches a 'similar' service and 'Poor Value' is subjective and up to the individual as there is no right or wrong, it's up to the individual but EAA has similar restrictions to PSN+ so not the all good EA are making it out to be.

You may cancel your subscription at any time for any reason. In addition, Microsoft may terminate your subscription if you fail to comply with the Microsoft Terms of Use (http://www.xbox.com/livetou). Likewise, EA may terminate your Origin Account, thereby blocking you from the EA Access Services, for any violation of the EA Terms of Services (http://www.ea.com/terms-of-service). Please note, unless required by law, all EA Content (such as in-game entitlements, add-on content, and downloadable content) purchased in connection with the EA Access Services (including, without limitation, purchases made during Vault Titles) are non-refundable and non-transferable. If your subscription to EA Access is cancelled or otherwise terminated, you will not have further access EA Content until and unless you purchase the EA Content or Vault Title separately. In addition, Vault Titles contain functionality designed to disable access to those Vault Titles in the event that (i) your subscription is canceled or otherwise terminated or (ii) EA decides, in its sole discretion to remove certain Vault Titles as described above.

No neither is PSN but that doesn;t stop monthky PSN updates getting hot.

Lets look at it another way. You can purchase this for £29.99 to own 'forever' (without opening the debate on how long forever might be) or providing you have an XB1 you can purchase 12 months of EA Access, have a tenner left over and play this and another 7-8 games to your hearts content.

It's a shame that SOny don't let their customers decide what represents good value.

I'm not a gold subcriber at the moment but it seems like there's room for both EA Access and Games for gold.

walking dead again! wolf among us would of been nice
#30
Meh. TWD 2 is an ok price, but it has also been cheaper to download with a Ps+ discount. NFS is ugh. Slightly better deal than the AC unity offering...
#31
Should have just gave us wolf among of us instead of 2 walking dead games which now means less deals on other games.

cool story, but those 10 people couldnt all play at the same time. digital means you can. sharing isnt gonna be for everyone, but it makes this a better deal than you sharing your game.
