pretty good, although still irrtates me I have about 4p too little in my account to buy anything decent after purchasing super stardust when it was cheap- Wish you could pay on a product basis rather than having to add minimum of a fiver to your account!
#8
Hot, just ordered using the £5 gift voucher I won on HDUK :)
Heated and repped.

What % Quidco do you get?
It doesn't really come under any of these:

2% for Electronics, Computing, Games Consoles
2.5% for CD's
3% for DVD, Blu-ray, Books
3.5% for Games
7.5% for Lingerie, Health & Beauty
10% for Flowers
#10
I dont get why they dont give you the option of emailing the code to you, be so much simpler and save themselves postage!

Because some people might claim that the code didnt work/they didnt get it etc etc etc and Zavvi/thehut probs cant be bothered with the hassle. Its the same reason some people don't send them via email on ebay - buyers can be scammers just as much as sellers!

You Can.

Just add a debit/credit card to your account and buy what you want. I have bought a couple of games from the ps store and never had too add a certain amount to my account.

Hot deal.

Surely emailing the code to the registered email address is more safe than sending unrecorded through the post. Ebay is a different kettle of fish with having to use paypal and the chargebacks.

It's still a minimum of £5 that gets transferred over though, so if the game is under a fiver you'll be debited £5 and the remainder will stay in your PSN wallet.

It comes under the "2% for Electronics, Computing, Games Consoles" category; I got £0.32 for my pre-order price of £15.95, it would get £0.30 at this price.

Fantastic deal, just ordered two of them. Fat Princess and a few other bits and pieces I have had my eye on for a while will be getting bought when they arrive :)

Thanks OP

What sort of things can you buy a PSN, i have just purchased a ps3 but not set it up yet, tempted to order but would like to know what there is to download, is there a site I can see what you can buy?

Cheers

Games and additional content, mostly. There's a few retail games available (i.e. games you can usually buy on disc for less), but the best thing about the PlayStation Store are the games made by smaller/independent studios, there's some excellent stuff on there. In addition, it's also where you buy any additional DLC (Downloadable Content) for games.

Aside from that, you also get all the free stuff like themes, wallpapers, demos, trailers and other videos. Once you've set up your PS3 and made a PSN account, it's definitely worth a look.

Thanks. Just ordered £9.95, found something to use my £5 discount on

just wondering would zavvi apply the cheaper price even if you pre order at 15.95?

They didn't for me.
#37
Pretty sure I saw they had Fifa10 on PSN for £30 to download on there the other day.
May be wrong.
If I'm not wrong, then if you're not bothered by having a box and disc, then the game would only cost you £22.50. (Going on the 15/20 = 0.75 logic).

Yep gone through at £15.95 for me, I have sent them an email though (even though it is only £1) Amazon refund the difference if they lower the price so I don't see why Zavvi shouldn't.

Ultimately if you can be bothered to send it back you could and reorder, which I would think Zavvi wouldn't want as it would just increase their costs.

Tried a phone call to them (damn 0844 number tho)
They said it is impossible to change price and its ready for dispatch, you may try to cancel and re-order if its in time, which is not in my case.
However they said if I wish to pay return postage myself there is 14days to return. I ordered 10pieces so thats definately worth to re-order and return.

With the £24.99ish deal recently, the disc can be sold anytime for more than £2 :-D

But I will certainly keep it for life coz its a good party game to play with any visitor/mates. if you are not planning to sell it for rest of your life, download version is more convenient to use and hopefully faster to load
