Yes, the store is live.

Played the GT demo, its ok i guess, i expected to be blown away mind.

Sadly I haven't broke into the PS3 realm yet, but our kid told me at the weekend you can now get Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies for PS3. I was well and truly addicted to both on the Amiga in the day and if the conversion to PS3 is any good I'd buy a PS3 for that alone.
#11
Its a straight port, and as of this week you can play ALL minis on the PS3.

I played some fantasies this morning, oh the memories.

Battlefield 1943 is very good, for those wondering.

Some good deals there. Does anyone know when these offers end? I won't be able to use my ps3 for a few weeks still. Can I use my psp to download the ps1 classics at least? Or do I need to be with my ps3 to register my psp on it's same account? Thanks for ant help!
#19
TETRIS DOES NOT work on the PS3 (yet)!!!

The offers tend to be 1 week only
Your PSN account is for BOTH your PSP and PS3 and you can download straight to your PSP or via your PC. You don't need a PS3.

I've never been online with my psp before though. Do I need to be with the ps3 to initially register it?

The offer prices run until 7th January.

...........BF1943 is a steal at that price. I already have it, so I went for Burn Zombie Burn .

Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge is a standalone title btw.

Sorry for being ignorant!

No, but you will have to update to the latest firmware on your PSP (so bad luck if you have a custom firmware, although some apparently do allow PSN connectivity).

You used to be able to... now you can plug your PSP into your PS3 & download games from the PlayStation Store, or set-up an account on your PSP to connect directly to the 'Store & download without the need to connect to any other device.

How much space do the full games take up on the hard drive? Have only downloaded demo's and little big planet freebies off the PSN network so far. However that may change now...

Ah right, thanks! I'll give it a go and see what happens, I havn't used my psp for ages. Will I be able to download the psone classic games I've paid for for free onto the ps3 at a later date then?

On your PSP (need to be on up-to-date firmware), go to 'sign up for PSN'.
Choose 'use existing account' & use your PS3 account details.
That's it done!

You can redownload onto your PS3 by going into the store & download list on your PS3 later on:thumbsup:
#38
Heat given. I've gone for Command and Conquer Red Alert 3: Commander's challenge.
#39
1943 is by far and away the best £10 i spent in 2009 and for £6.29 its a Hot Deal if ever there was one . Think i will pick up the Fight Night Pack , haven't played it for a while but its a cracking game .
