HI Guys

I know this was posted here

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/psp-3000-red-console-with-pro-evolu/733301

but if you add the £20 off £75 spend come to £93.94 delivered, thought was worth a repost.

Seems good to me???

Still an over priced bit of kit when you look at the price of the games as well.

lol its not

i bough a psp slim about 2 months ago for 80
bought about 4 new games for 40
bought about other games from ebay from ebay are new/sealed or mint

most older games are £5-9 new online or £2-4 2nd hand/new on ebay

ds games are very expensive in comparison - have both consoles

agreed with royals, especially about the ds games which considering thier price tag pale in comparison to psp games. No way is it overpriced considering what it can do, great value at this price. Excellent games can be purchased easily for £7 or £8.

I want a God of War edition!

Anyone used a PSP with PlayTV? I might be interested if it works properly but don't want to risk something that might be buggy and poorly implemented

I've used the PS3 through the PSP via remote play. Watched BBC iPlayer and Vidzone easily through it, as well as streaming video and music files. Lets you control your PS3 fully except play games.

Aren't Bargain Crazy items open box and refurbs?

I'm interested, anyone know if this model is exploitable as I know some 3000 models are...
#9
Excellent price, but I was not aware that the 3000 could run custom firmware.

Prices of games are excellent compared to DS games, and there are many bargains to be had on ebay, Amazon etc and also on the PSN including old Final Fantasy titles, Monster Hunter Unite etc for £7.99.

Hot deal for me.

Certain PSP-3000 models are, there was a post on the Argos deal a couple of weeks back with a picture of a graph showing which models are exploitable, only one specific 3000 model apparently can run custom firmware...

I'm tied between buying this or paying the extra dosh and getting the Go, I know they're overpriced pieces of kit but the 10 free game deal does entice me... ;)

Any advice?

Anyone had issues will the remote play? I'm sure I have set it all up ok but unless the PS3 is switched on and sitting on the remote play icon it will not work! Which kinda defeats the object! Any suggestions?

Great piece of kit and well worth the money by the way. Very good deal!

I can use the PSP to remotely turn my PS3 on. Just have to make sure you've allowed the option on the PS3 remote play settings.

I am using the original PSP not this 3000 or the slim models if that makes any difference...

That is a good deal and you get good games. But the Go is £199 is it not with the 10 free games? You can pick all those games up for less than the £100 difference between the 3000 and the Go. Plus you'll still have the UMD drive so you can pick up other games like God of War and MGS much cheaper, plus downloading straight to the psp is quite slow.

On the PS3 go to Settings and then Remote Play Settings near the bottom of the list. Make sure Remote Start is set to On. And your PS3 will wake up when you use the PSP in remote play mode. Be warned that your PS3 will always have a green light dimmed on it in future.

Have used the Play TV and also IPlayer as well as watched vids off the PS3 hard drive. I have only done it over my home network apart from once at a friends house. It worked well but you need a good upload speed on your home network if you are accessing it from another network.
