You download a 'theme' off PSN then sony send you an email with a code to download the games, it can take anything from a day to 6 months to get the code

wo now so im thinking now do you mean you cant play the round discs on a GO like you can on the others? you know like a DS and a DS I are different but you can use your games on both is this not the case?
#9
All you have to do to claim your games is use your shiny new PSPgo to access PlayStation Store and download the PSPgo Theme from the Latest category. You will receive an email including a PlayStation Network Voucher Code that will let you download your ten free games.

From the Playstation Blog.

I hate it when sony style deals are posted, it means I have to visit their bombshell of a retail website. Possibly the least user friendly website known to mankind. X)

Good Find! :D
#13
shame you can't get the VAT back on this with their offer :(
#14
nice deal, you must have seen my thread on the official playstation forum about the deal, and dont forget topcashback.

I can't see anything about the PSP on TCB, what would it be under?
#19
Just put in sony in the search tab, but im not sure which section the PSP will come under, probably ps3 or accessories, anyhow hopefully it will give anything from 5-8% cashback.

Yeah, what i meant was, there is no category that a PSP would fall under, although hopefully you would get at least 5% for it.

Only draw back is you've got to wait ages for the games, it took over 30 days for my code to arrive!
#23
still think its overpriced when you can get a 360 for less

WITH 16gb solid state memory (flash), the PSPgo for 129.00 is a steal!! probably the most advanced portable console on the market as well.

What a pathetic comment.

Worst/best hardware I've ever purchased. I advise all those tempted not to bother
This latest incarnation is even less tempting.

agreed, psn is toilet too..well on the psp...ps3 isnt that much better....laughable compared to the excellent xbox360 interface.....im no fanboy as have all consoles and friends have ps3 which is a great console btw but still prefer the xbox360 even if feels as robust as a conflake packet

prefer the psp 1,2,3 tbh at least you can play umd's even if the format is a bit frail...psp is great but strangely i prefer the simplicity of the ds - its the touch screen that does it, thats why the iphone is good to a degree for games, certainly simple puzzle ones

I happen to agree. I hated the DS prior to the Lite incarnation (which made it fantastic).
Purchased a PSP in the States just before UK release and loved the homebrew emulation but it soon became clear that literally every game was a low spec PS2 game on the move.

Most of my favourite DS games barely involve use of the touch screen, but they all seem catered to the handheld format and 15 minute play.

Well I wasn't going to get a Go, but ...
