The ten free games is an offer run by Sony Europe. To be eligible, you must not have used the PSPGo system to either create or log into a PSN account before 1 April 2010 - if Gamestation are advertising these consoles as being eligible for the offer, I assume they must be brand new.

By the way, the ten free games are:

* 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa
* Gran Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
* Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines
* Gran Turismo
* LittleBigPlanet
* Motorstorm Arctic Edge
* Wipeout Pure
* Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
* Need for Speed Shift
* James Cameron's AVATAR: The Game

Instructions for getting hold of the games, and the full T&C can be found here:

Good deal for what it is, but I wouldn't buy one.

All games can be purchased very cheaply on a UMD and you're able to trade them in at a later date. Being completely downloadable makes this impossible on the Go, add the fact that you have to pay the prices that Sony want you to pay, it's a no from me.

Plus I bought a second hand PSP-1000 on eBay a couple days ago LOL.

I completely agree with you.

It is worth noting that Sony have pretty much admitted that the PSPGo was an 'experiment'. Hopefully they will learn from it for the PSP2.

"Speaking to MCV, SCEE CEO Andrew House categorized the digital-only PSP Go as an experiment of sorts. "One of the reasons we launched PSP Go was to understand where that consumer behavior was going," House said. "We were getting signals from consumers that this was the kind of device that they wanted. But we need to recognize that consumers like their packaged media library."

No they don't, that's CEX. There units are brand new, the second hand price on the go is £99.99 without 10 games.

£159.99 is the new RRP I think. So not really a deal but nice to see a mention I guess.

The fact that the 10 free downloads offer ended on the 1st April may explain why (_;) Cold from me.

They changed the deadline for downloading the "psp go theme" offer till Jan 2011. However there is a 1500+ thread of people complaining it takes anywhere from 2 days to 40+ days to get your code. How quick you get it seems to be pot luck... It took me 25 days or so.

I bought my PSP go and "10 games" almost 2 weeks before i was due to fly to Vegas. But didnt get the codes till i was back in UK.

Great price for what it is. But dont expect the games to come quickly.....

The offer runs until January 31st 2011:

Offer ends 31 January 2011. Buy PSPgo, then wirelessly download the PSPgo Promotion Theme from PlayStation Store directly to your PSPgo by 31 January 2011 to receive a PSN promotion code allowing you to download 10 free PSP games.

Great price, definitely want a PSP Go, but have been waiting for the price to be around £150.
Hasn't the list of 10 games changed? It looks a bit different to what i saw before.
#19
I think the games are still the same, DarkKnight.

Here is the original blog article announcing the extension:
http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/09/09/pspgo-offer-extended/

..and the blog article launching the offer:
http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/06/01/buy-a-new-pspgo-and-get-10-free-games/

The games are the same on both lists.

its a good deal the rrp on a psp go isnt 159.99 by the way as someone stated, i think its 249.99
i paid £175 on ebay about 4 or 5 months ago on ebay brand new when the deal first came around. i have played it a bit, and i think its a nice little console the games are good as well - yes it sucks i cant buy the psp discs but there are cheap games you can get from psn - and i have a ps3 too so i can transfer stuff.
i do think the game downloads should be cheasper though. im not paying £31.99 for fifa 11 on my psp.
but the 10 free games are worth it i dont believe they are that cheap to buy on UMD. would cost you at least the cost of the console, so why not go for it?

i think once psp2 is out the games will be cheaper and the go will do ok. i dont have a lot of remorse for buying, but i wish i hadnt used my ps3 psn id as it means if i sell the console i have to sell without the 10 games. but if anoyne wants to get the console just for the games, make and account that has no CC details on it and then you can sell it with the games when the promo ends. having said that, the date has changed once already as the original deal ended in september i think.

thats not a reason for it to be cold, maybe you didnt follow the instructions about downloading the theme.

when i did this when the deal was new months back, i had heard it could take a few weeks to get put through but i got my code within 12 hours. it then took a day to download the games though.

At the moment it isn't, but on 1st November the RRP drops to £159.99. Presumably the other retailers will follow this price in a day or 2.
