So is this used when you have a driving game, go as fast as hell in every direction and then you can't find your way home?

Remember the post office will charge you VAT/customs charges, and then an extra tenner for "admin".
#7
Dealextreme mark everything as a gift and a torch worth a fiver or something, I doubt you'll pay vat etc.

GPS adapter (Software not included). Software can be easily obtained from the Web.

So, do you need custom firmware for that, or can you buy it from PSN store?
#9
Can anyone confirm which Satnav software runs on the PSP? (tomtom, garmin, etc)

Is it me but once you manage (some how ) to get the software - wont the sheer size of this either walking or stuck on your window just look "daft"?...

All that's available on the Sony store for this is the extra map packs, not the actual mapping software, which you get when buying the GPS in the UK.

For this to be any use, you either need to "acquire" the GoExplore UMD, or use a homebrew mapping software. Either way, your PSP needs CFW

Sorry all i know is this is the cheapest, though i don't really know if it actually require cfw or can download the online.

I'm not sure about the custom but when they sent me the package i didnt get any.

To tristdac i don't think those brand can be installed to psp ;p

I was soooo tempted by this, but then I noticed that the pictures of it on FocalPrice was slightly different than the ones on Deal Extreme (slight packaging differences and product a bit rough round the edges).

So I did a bit of checking on the internet about FocalPrice and found alot of people complaining about receiving fakes.

So from this feedback I'm gonna keep my money. Buyer beware.

Sorry but i have to disagree with you saying this is fake or look difference, as you probably need to research that their only one gps that is 290. If you do find one that look alike i do apologies for not believeing you, after a minor problem i do a lot of complaint through their forum and i too had a trouble with the acekard.

If their are some defective product you order, you have to pay the return fee which my acekard cost £5 registered airmail

i can only say it very cheap but the service is poorer then Deal extreme
