Sainsburys are selling 'Medal of Honour: Heroes' for the PSP for £5 in store.

It gets good reviews from the ones I've looked at, but I haven't played it myself yet. Looks pretty good though, with online play, etc.

Not gonna get much cheaper than this!

Would be interesting to find out if others find it at this price or if it was just this store the OP went to. Don't want to have a wasted trip to Sainsburys! :)

I would imagine it's national to be honest, since they are a huge company, the prices will usually change across the board.

Mine was in Bridgemead store in Swindon though, if that helps. They had another 3 I think. I bought 2, one for me, and one for my brother.

I'll be looking out for this, tho I'm a Call of Duty man myself. Good to see a PSP deal as they are rare on this site compared to xbox 360 and PS3 deals. :-D

There have been a few Sainsburys deals floating about. Seem to be national offers, but a bit like the Currys/PC World deals (in fact most instore deals) you need to be quite lucky to find them. ;-)

Hi mate,

Sorry if this is a bit cheeky, but if you go to that store again and they still have a copy, would you be willing to get one for me - I'll paypal cash to you if that's OK?

If not, don't worry.

Cheers,

J.

Ditto, I`m finding more and more of these supermarket "deals" are not wide spread and I`m wasting more petrol money than any potential saving are worth!!

I can't imagine playing a FPS on the PSP without a second nub.

Was in sainsbury's harrow yesterday - they had a rack of "cheaper" DVD's/CD/Games, but I couldn't find anything worth buying. I was tempted by Table Tennis (Rockstar) for the Wii at £13 - but remembered that this was on sale at that price even before the "sale"....

I personally have an unlocked PSP so I just downloaded this game but if I didn't have it unlocked and found this game at this price I would definitely buy it.

The game is great in single player and even better in Infrastructure Mode against other players.
Although it has been launched for some time now, the servers are packed with people playing it on-line so you are in store for a lot of fun.
I warn you though, playing it on-line is VERY ADDICTIVE!!!

Bottom line: Great Game, Great Deal...Heat added!!!

Oh for the love of god, not this again. i don't know what sainsburys you guys are going to but the ones i have been to seem to not have anything (and i have been to about 5). Anyhow, good for you, but this deal is more than likely not easy to find for the rest of us, especially myself.

Not in the Sainsbury near Cheltenham if that helps anyone

Nothing in Edinburgh Cameron Toll Sainsburys!

If you are not "passing" a Sainsbury's then it is def. worth
ringing first. Castle Marina Nottingham had nothing when I went.........

Cheers Teerex. PSP deals are definitely rare, but I guess that's because 99% of people have custom firmware on their PSPs!

Yeah, I've gone for a few of the PC World deals and similar, and there's been nothing in store. I guess you win some, you lose some.

I understand where you're coming from. I just happened to see it as I was passing. Plus, my local Sainsburys is a 1 minute drive or a 10 minute walk away, so not too bad for me.

I didn't even think of that!! I will have to play it soon, and try it out! Hope it's ok!

Well hopefully people will have been able to go to the Swindon one, since there are a few members. If not, sorry if I offend! :-D

Yep! Ring first, although worth popping in if you've got a local one, like me.

Coming to the show a bit late here, but I got one at Chelmsford yesterday afternoon, marked at £19.99 but came up as £5 when I asked the assistant to price check it. There was one more left.
