I don't think a slim & lite has ever been £140

well its £135 at the moment on play.com

Would guess its the PSP 2000 (often referred to as slim & lite) and therefore about £109.99 at Game and Amazon.. So a pretty good deal.. Heat added. If it IS the PSP 3000 then AWESOME deal.. Can you say.. Does it have the Start button on it? (that's about the only difference as far as I can find searching the web)

I don't want to come across as negative. I appreciate the original poster taking the time to add this to the forums but I feel people buying this should be aware that a new PSP is due out later this year called the PSP Go! and it's likely the older models will see bigger discounts over the coming months.

If you need one now (e.g. you are going on a trip) then this is a bargain.

thanx will pop in when i have the chance
#13
great price for psp regardless if 2000 or 3000
#14
i think this will be the last year for the psp and umds, psn is already selling downloadable psp games and a new hardware model is rumoured to appear sooner rather than later but sony wont announce anything that will kill current psp sales.

"Sony has declined to comment on rumour and speculation."

PSP 2000 £89.99+£6.99P&P here *********.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=330324924271 I know it's ebay but seems to be the legitimate Argos clearance store. PSP is brand new and comes with 12 month warranty. I havent had any personal experience with them though.

**Cant seem to add the URL for some reason**

It's inevitable there will be a new PSP at some point but this is just idle internet speculation...

nothing wrong with my original psp 1000
#19
I just paid Sony £61 for an out of warranty replacement....!
#20
why? ive had my phat since launch and never had a problem...it gets used daily too :P

ive had a slim for a couple of months now and i really do like the TV out option on it.
#21
bargain if its the 2000, easy to install custom firmware, 3000 cannot have m33 firmware as yet
#22
I noticed an advert outside Game today stating that the PSP Slim and Lite is also £99. Looks like this will be the normal price from now on.
#23
Seeing as stores still seem to carry both the 2000 and 3000 models I would bet they are phasing out the 2000 for whatever new PSP comes out near xmas.
#24
Bargain if you compare it with a DSI, but as mentioned it is highly likely Sony will launch a much smaller PSP without UMDs and a few GIG of memory built in by September. So expect £99 to be the norm, Heat added thou

I have a brand new box sealedPSP 2003PB which im trying to flog for abt £80 if anyone wants one.But it has no games.
#26
I hope this is the 2000, reading all the poor reviews citing the screen blur on the 3000 I won't get that one.
#27
My local Games4every1 is selling white PSP's for £84.99, is that a good deal?
