Yes, it is the 2000 model. Easiest way to tell is that the 3000 model has a speaker on the bottom near the volume button.

Never seen silver ones in the UK, apart from the limited edition crisis core ones.

I would like to know if you can use the voucher on this purchase, as the price of £99 is misleading if it is for a future purchase.

damn it - Iv already over spent this month.....may have to ask the missus to get me this for xmas

some heat + rep from me

No you pay £109.99 for the Psp and they give you a £10 voucher to use off your next Purchase.
What i did was pay for the Psp and i wanted something else so used it straight away off my next purchase.

You need to change the price in the title, you can't include the voucher as it is for a future purchase.

My kids were playing handheld consoles between the ages of 2 & 3.

My youngest (now 6) I trusted with my PSP at the age of 3.

He wants one for Christmas this year so perhaps they have got the age range right after all! :)

I have to agree - title is wrong - should be PSP 2000 silver + £10 voucher for £109.99.

Voting warm due to this.

I've been wanting to get a portable video player for my son for xmas. This is the cheapest I've seen a PSP for. It gets a hot from me. I've reserved one for collection tomorrow.

I would have been happy to update the title to £109 (+£10 voucher) but the actual price was already quoted next to 'go to deal' and anyway, somehow the title has been updated by someone else - how did that happen? :x

good spot - went and got mine at lunch.

BUT it has a fat green pixel stuck in the middle so its going back tomo :x

You could get it for £10 less if you buy £100 in vouchers, which gives you a free £10 voucher in many stores. Then use all the vouchers to buy the PSP, leaving £1 left on your giftcard.
#23
I think Argos are onto that trick this time so buying vouchers is excluded
I'm sure I read this in another post - check the t&c

I bought £100 vouchers yesterday and used them alongside the £10 bonus voucher to buy an ipod touch. If you look at the Argos ipod touch thread, lots of people have managed it (although it is not guaranteed to work in all stores).

Because of last time as soon as I walk through the door the manager just says..No.
#27
Well I managed to get the £10 for the £100 gift card (The assistant only realized after I tried to hand her my PSP reservation code straight after!), she said 'this time only' and I still coaxed her into giving me the £10 for the PSP purchase :-D

So £90 for the PSP.

BUT

YOU ALSO GET BUZZ MASTER QUIZ AND AN ESSENTIALS KIT FOR FREE!!! :w00t:
#28
If I already have a £10 voucher going to waste and use it plus £99 cash to buy this will I receive another free voucher?
#29
Yes..

Without knowing the motherboard number, it is impossible to say for certain.

I would be extremely surprised if it was unhackable.

That's what I'm hoping... If someone that's already purchased one can cough up some details I'd be eternally grateful..
#36
Yeap got one, and it's the 2003 model which is supported by the custon firmware (hac**able), the 3003 does not

I asked the SA if i buy £100 vouchers would I get the £10 free gift card and she said YES!!
So I use the £110 vouchers towards the new 3000 psp with fifa 09 (£149.99) and pay the
remaining £39.99 using my nectar points!

I also got a free PSP Essentials kit worth £19.99 + another free £10 giftcard as I spend over £100!

So all in all it cost me £100 for the new PSP 3000(with Fifa 09+ free essentials kit) and 2 x £10 free vouchers Bargin.........!
#38
Better still add an item around £2 and get both the £10 code off and free £10 voucher.
#39
a very good deal! THough I already have my beloved piano black psp 1000 :D
#40
So this 2000 model is crackable?

Heard that 3000 looks to be unbreakable.
