There is 2 versions above this PSP if it's the model im thinking of (200x series). The 300x series and the PSP Go, however in terms of quality this is the better PSP as the 300x series has problems with the screen, scan lines etc and the PSP Go has no UMD drive it relys just on digital downloads from the playstation network store.

So to answer your question i would say yes, this model is worth the money.

not gonna be 3000 series no matter what they say - its slim and lite which is older 2000 series and the whole reason they are cheaper.

they sell the 3000 series (slim and bright/brite) for 40 quid more

Gutted at this! Had been on the lookout for a decent deal on a PSP and settled for the £115 deal in Asda with World Cup 2010. La vie! Piano Black is a lot classier though I feel....
#23
Contacted CS again. It is NOT the 3000 series, it is indeed the 2000 slim and lite one.

er yes obviously, they just made a mistake before.
slim and lite cant be 3000, slim and lite= 2000 slim and brite/bright = 3000
as they sell this specifically as slim and lite its not 3000
as they sell this 40 quid cheaper than the specifically named 3000 series its not 3000
#25
it cant be 3000 ... its probably 2000 but does any one know if the firmware is crackable (_;)
#26
Is it worth getting this one, or paying a little extra and getting a 3000?
#27
Sorry for sounding a bit behind, but some of you guys seem to know your stuff and was wondering what exactly are the differences between Slim and Lite and 3000 model?? Know nothing at all about PSP's!! Thanks.
#28
I got one today, the it's the TA-088v3, which is partially hackable, seemingly.
#29
