Only a £1 on offer in Tesco, all varieties.

even better thanks.

they had these on offer for £1.00 a few weeks back and they vanished from sale, maybe the promo had ended. As these have short dates and people are unsure of them resulting in loads left, its best to wait till the end of the day and get them for 45p like i used to and then freeze them.
I am not fussed on pies as they give me a bad stomach plus the grissle but i can honestly say these pies are the best pies I have ever eaten, cannot be faulted in anyway. Even my lad who had one the night before wanted one for his breakfast and he is very fussy

Arent these the same pies that wembley sell for £6

They sell them at Larger Sainsburys too, I love the Steak and Kidney but they take ages to cook in the oven virtually twice as long as it says on the box!

They also sell box's of 6 Frozen at Makro for around £4.50 but these take 70 mins on gas mark 3 to heat up (not what it says on the box, I had to phone pukka pies up as they were cold in the middle after cooking and they gave me different instructions to what is on the box as this is apparently for industrial ovens the girl also told me the chilled needed about 45 mins too rather than the 20 they recommend).

The fact they they can only be cooked in the oven was the reason I didn't get any this afternoon. Big warning on the box that they should not be heated in a microwave.
