yes i know but my point being RRP £150 you cant say that as its not £150 as its a refurbished so your title should say £50 elsewhere not £150when you sell a car you dont say RRP £9000 now only £995 do you?
It's simply comparing the Hut's refurb price over new rrp - hardly worthy of a debate. It's cheaper than any other refurb so why mention?

Ordered looks like a good deal to me. Cant see anything as good for anywhere near this money.

I have had one off these for a couple of years and can recommend them. The sound is spot on and tuning very good. They also look great in my opinion.

No DAB radio is worth more than 50p!
Duff reception, causing bubbling mud effects.
Stations that decide they don't want to tune in.
Presets!
Where did preset buttons go?

My AM radio is more reliable!

Oh I know, the sound quality is good and that is the important thing, but it just amazes me how they think that looks nice. It doesn't look worth £150 at all. They must think if they put cheap wood panels round it it justifies a price premium.

Great deal - even as refurb.

Though I do like to use FLAC for bought cds and do get annoyed if I'm restricted to MP3, for radio DAB is good enough for me. Maybe I'm lucky to be somewhere with good signal. The main few stations I want are good enough. It may not be super hight bitrate, but good enough. I do hope bit rate improves with DAB+, but what I have at present I can live with. If I hear something on radio I like I'll usually buy it on cd and convert to FLAC. Also - I do have option of internet radio if I'm that desperate or Spotify. I certainly don't miss the crackling and squealing of FM stations or the switching to AM/MW for certain stations.

Darn it, missed out on this deal and now WHSmith are sold out as well! Hot for those that managed to get one.
Oh well, guess I'll just keep collecting them Daily Mail tokens for the much inferior Pure Mi

Thank you for agreeing with me.
DAB is FAR from perfect!
I have:-
One that will not tune into Talk Sport.
One that has to be moved to tune into Radio 5.
One personal one in which the FM reception is better than the DAB.
Of the 5 that I have, only one has dedicated preset buttons.
My AM/FM radios pick up all the stations that they are supposed to, wherever they are placed.
Answer } People who can not tune into DAB stations listen to them on AM.

Please feel free to tell us how stupid you now feel.

I flew the flag for DAB for many years till I got an internet radio.
1000s of stations as opposed to the limited choice on DAB.
#32
The BBC have a lot to answer for with DAB. It is inefficient, overpriced out-dated technology.

I agree with you Pluun what an absurd and foolish statement for him to make, and further more the only way for most people in a car to listen to Talksport and Radio 5 Live is using AM stations. It's completely ridiculous to say who listens to AM any more. Radio 5 Live has plenty of listeners and plenty who listen in the car. Most people have car radios that aren't capable of DAB reception. So who on Earth listens to AM, loads and loads of people especially when they are travelling in their car. I often listen to sport when I'm driving so I listen to Radio 5 Live in the car on AM since I don't have DAB in my car and when I've tried DAB in cars it's been rubbish.

you should have used the AUG40 voucher and quidco, as ive got mine for about £32.50 if quidco pay up

item is 37.93, then buy something else for £2.07 or more so you can use the AUG40 voucher (min £40 spend, £4 off).....if you cant find anything get a £5 voucher so

you get the radio and £5 voucher for £38.93 (less quidco)

or radio for £35.93 using the ops method

no brainer tbh

prob is that its not being promoted much in this country and then there's the issue of how to get it into cars....there are some solutions sure but it they are along way off mass use

None of those work in my car, I see you chose to ignore my comments and have now backtracked on your statement that no one listens to AM. If you're going to call people stupid make sure you don't say anything stupid yourself which you have done.

Out of the 5 DAB radios I own, only one works without any probs.
A Pure Legato II but people should not have to spend £350 to get a DAB radio that works.
I'm glad to say I didn't as I won it in a competition that I entered on Talksport.
Lucky for me that I was listening to TS on AM as I prob would have missed the details had I to cope with "Bubbling mud" DAB. :p
