even if it is an error, amazon have in the past honoured erroneous prices!
#3
The P&P is quite high when ordering just one of these... so it was worth ordering 2 just to get the free postage. Not that I would expect to get one (surely a misprice) - even with the really bad reviews on Amazon it must be worth £11!!!
#4
just ordered 2 :whistling: shall see what happens:-D
#5
This is a great little DAB radio. Well worth getting. I've heard it in action and will almost blow you away. You may need to get some different head/ear phones to hear it's full potential but it is amazingly good .... good enough to play through your Hi-Fi if you could. Although I aint done that so don't come after me if it sounds drab..... :w00t:
#6
do amazon normally honour misprices? (just bought 2...one for me and one for mum on mothers day...)
#7
This is definitely a misprice, cheapest I can find it is £149.99

Might be a mistake as you say but it gets a bad review for its poor radio reception (FM or DAB). However it takes an SD card (max capacity not known) and it allows mp3 file structure to be viewed. Bargain!

I've just ordered 2 !
#9
Quite often they do, but with the big price difference on these, I wouldn't get your hopes up to much.

I got my 500gig Portable hard drive for £56.89 when it was supposed to be priced at £114.89, and is now at £144.62 from amazon.
#12
even on ebay at £95
just ordered a couple
will be good for prezzies if we get them

plus amazon has 2 weeks to cancel it
#13
This probably isn't a misprice, it's just an appalling device that was discontinued earlier this year. It gets bad reviews all round, including cases where the device has melted while charging - bad reception is the least of it's problems.
A complete dud.

just ordered 2 for the free delivery, fingers crossed and all that, as i really want a pocket dab radio!

There is not a cat in hell's chance of getting these. I mean this is a very similar item (if not the same) and look at its price: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pure-Pocket-DAB2000-Radio-Player/dp/B000BNDJE0/ref=sr_1_1/026-1752634-1638056?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1172941183&sr=8-1

still low risk with amazon's money back guarantee!

Is your opinion from personal experience or just internet reviews?

My uncle had one to use whilst cycling to work - he said the reception was all over the place, the supplied headphone complete crud (though swapping them might cause further reception problems as the cable is used as the ariel), it most certainly wouldn't fit in his pocket and he got fed up of constantly charging it.

He didn't keep it long enough for it to melt, that was from an Amazon review that an earlier poster seemed to over look'
#22
I thought it was worth a shot as I'm already signed up with them. Dunno if I'd have bothered if it was Woolies or someone.

It's a long long shot though.

Pocket, not pocket - unless you're a Kangeroo.

http://www.lordpercy.com/pocket2000-1.JPG

"sadly we have to hold short of recommending it due to its physical size and weight combined with poor reception. The MP3 playback and record features work very well and add greatly to its attraction but it fails in its primary task as a portable DAB radio." - lordpercy.com

So even at a tenner that makes it an expensive, bulky 64MB MP3 player.

Wonder if this will be cancelled along with the other past cock ups Amazon have done over recent weeks with Stargate 8, Seinfeld 4 and 5 and Seagal Box Set.

just had a look at the amazon mail

Please note that for items ordered from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon Jersey this e-mail is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and your contract to purchase these items is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that the items have been dispatched to you. For items purchased from third parties in Marketplace, zShops or Auctions, this e-mail confirms the completion of your contract to purchase those items.

why is it a contract to ...third parties in Marketplace, zShops or Auctions
but not to amazon?
#33
Glad I ordered this when I did.

Eta on cancellation e-mail? :)
#34
I've just rung the nice lady in Amazon customer services to make sure that I'd be getting my wireless and she said she'd look into it as there have been loads of orders recently. She wasn't very hopeful.....

:whistling: only kiddin', good luck, no breath holding
#35
Good luck to those that ordered, don't like your chances though.

Because you have to pay for the goods at the time of ordering.

No it hasn't. That one is being sold by Hughes Direct. Amazon aren't selling this anymore.
