More expensive than PIA even on sale. Has a software router but who needs that? Everyone has a router.

Unless I'm missing something, you can buy a lifetime subscription to PureVPN for much the same price? See here.

Yes it is expensive & i used pia before, the speed was not good. The thing i like most about purevpn is its speed & i think it's better to spend your money on such good vpns like purevpn as compare to wasting your money on cheap low speed vpns.

Yes you can, if you like to. However, the most popular program i see is the annual or 1+1.

Depends what your reasons for wanting a VPN are?

Privacy obviously, geoblocking, etc... what are it's bad points in relation to everything?
Why are so many voting cold?

Mainly, because there are so many VPNs in the market. Offering as low as nothing and it's very hard for common internet user to differentiate. Unless they use it for streaming because this is where free and cheap VPNs lag.

I probably should have said that I have :) rather than PureVPN I purchased the slightly cheaper VPNsecure.me lifetime sub (just search for VPN on the site and a dozen or so options come up). I went with them because they explicitly highlighted no logging and torrent protocols allowed.

I've had it for about 3 weeks now and I've been very pleased with VPNsecure. Speeds are at least comparable to PIA for me (although your mileage may vary - the main device I use it with is a raspberry pi 3 which has some obvious speed bottlenecks built in!) and the support staff are excellent - I had to refer to them a few times when trying to set up split tunnelling.

Honestly, even as a secondary back up VPN in case of extended outages with your primary, £25-30 lifetime is hard to beat.

Thanks I signed up for the lifetime sub, initially I signed up to BlackVPN but the speed was very slow so have requested a refund and PureVPN is a lot faster.

if you have a look on the small print in the email you receive with the redemption code it says it will last for 5 years and then email them and they will extend it for a further 5 years. So can be for life if you keep remembering to renew.
