Yeah they are - I brought one at the weekend for £1.39 :-D

These are perfect to use for a gravy jug at sunday dinner.

Isn't *all* glass "non-porous"? I've never seen a liquid ooze out of the sides of any other glass jugs - or for rain to penetrate in through my windows. They might as well add that you can see through it, too.

No its not, its the usual size for a Pyrex Jug, its almost a pint. Easy to store in a cupboard, and when measuring liquids for cooking, it's rarely more than 500ml.

Voted hot, ordered one as Im fed up trying to see the amounts on the side of my rubbishy plastic jug!

as measuring jugs go, 500ml is small. Thats all I am saying. Maybe not very small mind you :)

Got mine today. Its actually a pint, so its ... 568ml?

This is very badly balanced. The handle needs to be 2cm longer to be able to hold it comfortably when full, not impressed with it. Want my mums old one with a proper full handle!
