A very good idea if it works as mine did not last year even after spending many phone call and hours talking with their tech support they could not get it to work, btw gud price

So what does it do that a cable wouldn't do, and do it a lot easier then?

10m HDMI cables are commonly posted on here, I use a 5m one myself and it works perfectly, If you haven't got a suitable graphics card with HDMI/DVI or VGA outputs, you can get one a lot cheaper than this too!
