Brilliant reviews !

Hosted by Stephen Fry, with permanent guest Alan Davies, Quite Interesting or QI to its friends is the comedy panel quiz where the answers are infinitely more entertaining than the questions. With points being awarded for being interesting or funny, each show promises to be a hugely entertaining and enlightening experience. Featuring 12 episodes and the panel includes Alan Davies, Bill Bailey and special guests including Eddie Izzard.

Whilst I absolutely love Qi, I do have to question what the point of buying a DVD of it is. You can watch several shows a night on Dave for nothing.

*Hot, simply because it's such a great show :D

Great show, watch it on dave a lot.

Yes, but how long are the advertising breaks now on Dave and other UKTV channels? You completely lose the thread and the mood of the programme.

My hard drive DVD recorder has a function which removes them solves that problem :-D

I wonder what Alan Davies is doing with his Left hand in that picture on the cover..? Always makes me laugh that!

Another advantage of the DVDs over Dave - the extras are actually very entertaining and informative.

Ooooh, hadn't thought that there might be some deleted scenes and outtakes. Hmm, what to do? :w00t:

I went to a recording of QI on the South Bank. One of the "obvious answers" came out spelled incorrectly on the screen. At the end of the programme, the producer wanted to do a re-take with the correct spelling displayed, but Stephen Fry said he wouldn't do it - if they couldn't spell properly then they should be shamed in public! Anyone remember that episode, and what the word was?

This DVD also features the original "pilot" which was never shown.

To be honest it is terrible, but still interesting.

And has been said, DVD also includes lots of out takes and extra scenes that were cut from broadcast shows.

Great Show. Informative and really funny.

You can find out things like which is the only American state without a straight line in its boundary by watching this lol.

Can't say i'd want it on DVD though.

been this price for a while, cost me about £5.80 in the end, and 12 eps in total is a bargain.

ive got C series on preorder, but the B series seems quite expensive.
