I luffed Al....didn't luff the last episode though.

Wicked series, I paid around £20 for each boxset, so for this price, HOT from me!

I wish they'd never cancelled it & done the tv movie they've been talking about for years though, tie up the loose ends! (i.e the ending!)

Still, an amazing show, that reminds me of coming home from school & watching it on BBC2 in the 90s!

I had to comment on this with my avatar!

Your right mate, I remember watchin it on BBC2....did it start at 6pm?

This is a good deal for an entire series, hot, good find!

So in the end, he just kept leaping and would have eventually died of old age? And instead of Al marrying loads of women he just marries Beth as Sam went back to tell her that Al is alive?!

REP ADDED!

I actually went to the 20th anniversary convention in LA a few months back. Meet all the cast (apart from Dean Stockwell-gutted).
The writter/co-producer said that the last episode was initially a season cliffhanger, and they had loads of synopsis for the next season at hand. However when they were told that the show was not picked up for more seasons, Don Bellisaro re-wrote that episode as the last, and originally sent Sam back home. But Deborah Pratt insisted not to do this because: A) she wanted people to keep the illusion alive that there is someone out there doing good for others- and B) if they sent him home, that would be the end of the whole saga- by keeping him leaping in time, somewhere down the line there was hope that the series could be picked up for TV again. They've even tried for a spin-off series where Sam's daughter realises that her dad is trapped in time and she tries to get him back-no joy on that tho :-(

Cant believe you went to the convention, would have loved it....

I heard about Sams daughter route, but would love to see Al and Sam back together - they're not past it yet!
