The cheapest for this so far, very mixed reviews!! Television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew's videotape.

The original Spanish flick REC was excellent too.

Seems cheap compared to elsewhere, but the original is much better!

edit - as mentioned above! Having seen both I'd purchase the original

Hot price for a new release DVD but man this film was bad. Can't comment on REC as I've not seen it but this is a stinker...
#5
Dont waste your money on this at all, watch the original REC, another hollywoodfied film gone wrong.

Spoony's review was better than the film (NSFW): http://www.spoonyexperiment.com/2008/10/12/quarantine-review/

Is it worth watching just for Jennifer Carpenter?

According to that review and several comments, she is incredibly annoying.

You are better off picking up dexter for your jennifer carpenter watching pleasures. It is just an exact Americanized-copy of REC, which is far better in my opinion.

Looks awful

[REC] was excellent - please save yourselves £3 and buy that instead

The WORST film I have ever seen - you'd have to pay me to watch it again.

You've obviously never seen return of the killer tomatoes:w00t:

I wouldn't watch it again even if someone PAID me £7.99.

It was just that bad. The acting was horrible. The lead actress just sobbed and cried and whimpered for half the movie.

22C ? thats lowest ive seen so far ;)

Shocking film. Not worth £1, never mind £8

Well I think this is a hot deal, surely temp should be based on whether it is a good price rather than peoples opinions of the film?
I wanted to see it in the cinema, so £7.99 = bargain when next nearest price I can find is nearly £10
#21
Rec was excellent
#22
One of the worst films i've ever seen, can't believe this has a plus rating on here, no price would be good!!
#23
Holy hell, the tables sure have turned on this deal - even though it is a brand new release title.

Not if we think you'd be better saving your money and buying a different film, or even better, the original....
