Good item... let's not spend months talking about it... look up previous reviews, and postings on here - there has been MORE than enough said about it, it's NOT for knives costing 100 quid each, but is great for those who can't sharpen a knife properly with a stone and steel.

couldn't agree more, perfect for a standard set of kitchen knives, so heat added, but don't go putting your Global G9 through this :0)

nice find but has been cheaper, looking through older posts this has dropped to £5.52 in the past

I saw one of these on a shaytards vlog, they look good

Was going to buy it but as a reviewer says, if you still need a steel to sharpen the tip of the knives then whats the point. Read the reviews before you buy folks, this is one below........

Please read a lot of the one star reviews. There are a whole lot of very dissatisfied buyers. I bought one of these and it just tears the blade into a jagged mess. If you do buy one, keep your packaging so that you can return it. Try it out on a knife that you don't mind damaging and then when you find out how badly it works, take the trouble to send it back.

This product is absolutely NOT "The World's best Knife sharpener" it is one of the worst. Also this product has no connection at all to the respected Japanese Global brand.

If you are the kind of person who doesn't send things back because it takes too much effort for a few quid. Don't be ripped off. Buy almost any other sharpener. It will be a lot better.

I got one and it rips the blade to shreds and doesn't actually make it much sharper. I have tried doing it hard, medium and soft but still have no success. Unless I am doing something wrong and the instructions aren't explaining properly then these are only worth using on very blunt knives.

Is there something I am missing or are these total crap?

I have a decent set of knives and this sharpener is excellent for them.... dunno why some ppl having problems...

Had one of these for a few years, works a treat, also no idea why people have problems, and my knives are semi-decent ones, not overly outlandish but not cheapos either.

As far as collecting points at Amazon, it's normally 1 point per £1 spend, but it's currently 2 points per £1 spend till 8th April. Points collected have different redemption values based on where you spend your points. 500 points = £2.50 Amazon voucher but some retailers give a £5 voucher for 500 points.

It's £4.49 now. I'd cut my wrists if I'd bought one for £7.79. Well I would if my knives weren't blunt.

Be wary of this product.

I used it once, the knives got so sharp I had to hand them all over to NATO.

i laughed coz i found it funny (and still do). interesting how you have misinterpreted it, though, and entertaining that you felt compelled to come to the heroic rescue and defense. glad to see there are still people with morals and integrity around like your good self. (also just click on the ignore button)
