how is that a deal when cashback is never guaranteed??
banned#2
Give the guy a chance lol

I gave it heat. There's a brilliant sale on at the moment so you could feasibly rustle up a £200 order.

I'll see if I can find a few codes.

Just a heads up the T&Cs says no codes but you can give it a go.

I usually purchase with a rewards credit card (cashback) and get rewards on the purchase and the cashback.

It's a shame there was a brilliant code for 10% but it expired...

Either I post it or post nothing at all. If people prefer nothing then vote cold. People would rather stick the boot in than to post someting worthwhile (like a 2p price drop)

Offers of a 25% cashback is nothing to be taken lightly. Nothing in life is never guaranteed but would it be better to push that purchase up to this week or whether you want to take the 8% on offer next week is up to you.

Yes but its asking you to spend £200+ on the fact that you "might" get 25% cashback...its tracking rate is just over 84%, i'm afraid that wouldnt make me order unless i already needed the something i was ordering whatever happend!

84% tracking rate isn't bad, it is more concrete than the Bank of England's predicitions on when interest rates are going to rise. Nobody is asking you do anything. There is this additional 17% cashback out there that I want to notify people about. If you are going to be buying from Moss next week you might want to do it by this Sunday. You try walking in to any store and asking for a 17% discount, would you expect an 84% change of getting a "yes"? Most likely not.

Good spot! I wasn't looking for 2 suits. Will alter and give you credit for it.

you cant compare the bank of englands rates in this instance!!! its not a fair comparison at all! but posting a deal like this to draw people in to buy its like your saying they will get cashback. they may not. you cannot guarantee it. and yes as for your walking in store and asking for 17% off we all know this wont work but tbh, you've more chance of getting money off anything by going online so in that respect, your right but a deal?? it is not.... look at the voting anyways.

Remember that's just the initial tracking rate ,which seems about right in my experience . I've had 5 out of about 40 purchases that haven't tracked initially but coughed up when I put the claims in . Debenhams are the worst for tracking - 3 orders ,0 tracked , but paid up after I put the claim in .

thats why i use TCB if am honest, never had 1 problem with them and the disallowed cashback i've had was me using codes that werent provided by them

Quidco is pretty good at missing cashback claims anyway - so there's no reason why you won't get the cashback for sure if you click the right link and then purchase.

Be careful ordering different sizes to try and return btw. Although returns are FREE, I can confirm that any order that has ANY part of it returned, makes the entire order completely ineligible for any cashback.

Otherwise - good deal.

Look at the voting? You mean voting on HUKD is scientifically sound reflection of whether this is a good deal? You are talking about a country that voted for a hung parliament with that party nobody really cares about lead by Nick Clegg holding the balance of power and now we're going the other way into the arms of Nigel Farage. On the other hand we're getting 1000 degrees on a £2 drop on an SSD drive (£2 on £85 which is less than 2%) If I gave you 84% probability of getting 17% in your pocket until Sunday it is a good deal!

You've got issues with statistics, magnitudes of savings and probabilities.

I think it is 15% off 2 suits first so you can buy 2 suits for £99 each and get c£30 off the order in cash.

THEN if you spend over £200, 25% cashback (IF less than £200 the c8%)

Purchased £210 worth, cashback only tracked at 6% as moss don't pay cashback on vat.

Not sure if I should cancel a part of the order, the whole order or challenge the cashback amount.

But surely you should still get paid the 25% which is the "uplift" would raise a support ticket.

It is part of the T&Cs they pay cashback ex VAT. But the wording is spend £200+ and get 25% cashback (25% on ex VAT) which is not too bad still.

You have comprehension issues. I am saying "how people vote on HUKD is not representative of the merits of the deal".

If people want to vote down 84% probability of getting a 17% increase in cashback than normal (8%) available over the next 5 days for something they were planning to buy soon then that is their opinion.
